Demko (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Demko is week-to-week and unavailable for at least the remaining four games of Vancouver's road trip. He has posted a 6-6-3 record with one shutout, a 2.87 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 17 appearances this season. Due to Demko's absence, Arturs Silovs was the backup behind Kevin Lankinen in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Vegas.

Shesterkin got the start Saturday against Buffalo but was pulled in the first period after allowing five goals on 16 shots. The 29-year-old netminder will look to bounce back against a Pittsburgh team that's averaging 2.86 goals per game. Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Steals win against Avs
Saros stopped 31 shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over Colorado.
Despite the fact that the Avs outshot the Preds 32-17, Saros was brilliant in ensuring the home side would come away with a victory, and the only puck to get past him came on an absolute rocket from Sam Malinski early in the second period. Playing for Team Finland in the 4 Nations Face-Off seems to have given Saros a chance to get re-focused, as he'd lost his last five starts for Nashville prior to the break while posting a 3.91 GAA and an .881 save percentage.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Takes tough loss against Preds
Wedgewood made 15 saves in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Nashville.
Given an opportunity for a revenge game against the team that dealt him to the Avalanche in November, Wedgewood wound up on the wrong end of a goaltending duel with Juuse Saros, despite the fact that Colorado outshot the home squad 32-17. Wedgewood had missed the last four games before the 4 Nations Face-Off due to an upper-body injury, but he seems fully recovered and ready to resume backup duties behind Mackenzie Blackwood. Through 10 outings with the Avs, Wedgewood has gone 5-4-0 with a 2.36 GAA and a .908 save percentage.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Downed by Kraken
Bobrovsky turned aside 20 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Seattle.
The veteran netminder played well but didn't get much help from his offense, and a Jared McCann tally in the third period on a 3-on-2 rush proved to be the difference. Bobrovsky has given up two goals or fewer in six of his last seven starts, a stretch in which he's gone 5-2-0 with a dazzling 1.74 GAA and .933 save percentage.
-
Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Sharp in win No. 20
Daccord stopped 26 shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Panthers.
The 28-year-old goalie nearly delivered his second shutout of the season, but Eetu Luostarinen's shot from in close midway through the second period caromed into the net off Daccord's blocker. However, it was the only puck to get past him, as he collected his second straight win and career-high 20th of the year. Daccord has allowed more than three goals only once in his last nine outings, a stretch in which he's gone 4-4-1 with a 2.33 GAA and a .925 save percentage.

Washington sits first in the league with 3.64 goals per game in 2024-25 and posted an 8-3 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.
