  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Exits ice first Thursday

Daccord was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports, indicating he'll guard the cage at home versus the Sharks.

Daccord had made 10 consecutive appearances in the crease before finally getting a night off versus the Ducks on Tuesday. During that stretch, the 28-year-old netminder went 5-3-0 with a 2.28 GAA. The Boston native should continue to see a heavy workload moving forward, especially after the team made the decision to ship Philipp Grubauer to the minors.

  • Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Dealing with lower-body injury

Johansson didn't participate in Thursday's morning skate and is considered day-to-day due to a lower-body injury, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

The Lightning recalled Matt Tomkins from AHL Syracuse on Thursday, and Johansson's injury helps provide a reason for the move. Andrei Vasilevskiy (illness) is considered a game-time decision for Thursday's home game against the Kings, and Tomkins would presumably start if Vasilevskiy is unavailable or serve as the backup if Vasilevskiy is cleared to start.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Between pipes against Canes

Soderblom will tend the twine on the road versus Carolina on Thursday, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Soderblom has just one victory in his last five outings, posting a 1-2-2 record, 3.37 GAA and .908 save percentage. The 25-year-old backstop appears to have played his way into at least a split share of the workload alongside Petr Mrazek. With the subpar team around him, Soderblom is unlikely to pick up a lot of wins the rest of the way -- though he has already set a new personal best with his seven victories.

  • Lightning's Matt Tomkins: Recalled by Tampa Bay

Tomkins was called up from AHL Syracuse on Thursday, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Tomkins was recalled as Andrei Vasilevskiy (illness) will be a game-time decision versus LA on Thursday. Should Vasilevskiy be unable to go, Tomkins will back up Jonas Johansson. Tomkins was 6-8-3 with a 2.87 GAA and a .900 save percentage across 17 AHL appearances before his recall.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Tending twine Thursday

Wolf will defend the home crease versus Anaheim on Thursday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Wolf had his three-game winning streak come to an end Tuesday against the Capitals, as he allowed three goals on 23 shots in a 3-1 loss. The 23-year-old netminder has established himself as the No. 1 goaltender with the Flames this season, going 18-8-2 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.56 GAA and a .915 save percentage. The Ducks are scoring 2.54 goals per game, last in the NHL this season.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Game-time decision Thursday

Vasilevskiy (illness) will be a game-time decision against the Kings on Thursday, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

Coach Jon Cooper said that he is "hopeful" that Vasilevskiy will be ready to play against the Kings. Vasilevskiy is 20-15-2 with a 2.34 GAA and a .915 save percentage across 37 starts this season. He missed Tuesday's game with the illness and Jonas Johansson will once again get the start should Vasilevskiy be unable to go.

  • Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Starting against Winnipeg

Korpisalo will defend the home crease against Winnipeg on Thursday, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports.

Korpisalo didn't start in either of the Bruins' last two games, but he'll return to the crease Thursday. Over his last three appearances, he's gone 2-0-0 with a 1.71 GAA and .937 save percentage. The Jets are a formidable opponent, as they lead the NHL with 3.54 goals per game this season.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Suffers second straight loss

Woll allowed two goals on 24 shots in a 3-1 defeat to Minnesota on Wednesday.

Woll has given up two goals in each of his last two outings while suffering losses to the Wild and Senators. Despite the recent skid, the 26-year-old netminder is putting together decent numbers this year, posting a 17-10-0 record to go with a 2.64 GAA, .908 save percentage and one shutout.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Concedes once in win

Gustavsson allowed just one goal on 33 shots in Wednesday's 3-1 victory over Toronto.

Gustavsson has bounced back from a difficult mid-January to secure wins in each of his last two outings while posting a 1.51 GAA. The 26-year-old netminder has seen the bulk of the workload for the Wild this season and should continue to do so ahead of veteran Marc-Andre Fleury, who will get the starting nod against the Habs on Thursday in the second half of a back-to-back set.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Not yet ready to suit up

Ullmark (back) won't be available to serve as a backup for Thursday's home game against the Capitals, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

Ullmark remains on long-term injured reserve due to his back injury, but he was working in a net during Thursday's morning skate, fueling speculation that he'd be cleared to serve as Anton Forsberg's backup. However, Ullmark will require at least one more game on the shelf, while Leevi Merilainen will serve as the No. 2 netminder against Washington. Ullmark's next chance to suit up will be at home against Minnesota on Saturday.
