Palat (illness) will play against Calgary on Monday, according to Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.
After missing Saturday's 4-1 loss to Carolina, Palat will return to a top-six role versus the Flames on Monday. He has contributed four goals, 10 points, 51 shots on net, 37 blocked shots and 84 hits through 47 outings this campaign.

Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Expected to start Monday
Markstrom is slated to start on the road against Calgary on Monday, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.
Markstrom will attempt to get back into the win column after stopping 31 of 35 shots in a 4-1 loss to Carolina on Saturday. He's 12-11-1 with a 3.37 GAA and an .879 save percentage in 25 outings in 2025-26. The Flames are 21-23-4 this season, but they have won three of their past four games while outscoring the competition 12-9 over that stretch.

Kings' Andre Lee: Returned to AHL
Lee was loaned to AHL Ontario on Monday.
Lee has played in the Kings' last seven games, supplying one goal, one assist, five shots on net, three blocked shots and 17 hits. His demotion may bode well for the availability of Anze Kopitar (lower body) or Trevor Moore (upper body), who are both on injured reserve, ahead of Tuesday's matchup against the Rangers.

Ducks' Chris Kreider: Good to play
Kreider (illness) is set to play Monday versus the Rangers, per Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
Kreider missed two games because of the illness. He has 15 goals and 25 points in 42 outings in 2025-26. Jansen Harkins is projected to be a healthy scratch Monday as a result of Kreider's return.

Sharks' Kiefer Sherwood: Dealt to Capital of Silicon Valley
The Sharks acquired Sherwood (undisclosed) from Vancouver on Monday in exchange for a second-round selection in 2026, a second-round pick in 2027 and Cole Clayton.
Sherwood is on injured reserve and has been out of action since Jan. 10. It's unclear when he will be available to make his San Jose debut, but Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports that the 30-year-old forward isn't sure he'll play before February's Olympic break. Sherwood has racked up 17 goals, 23 points, 109 shots on net and 210 hits in 44 games this season.

Cole Clayton D | VAN
Canucks' Cole Clayton: Acquired in trade
Clayton was acquired by Vancouver from San Jose along with a 2026 second-round pick and a 2027 second-round selection in exchange for Kiefer Sherwood on Monday.
Clayton has two goals, five points and 21 PIM in 33 appearances with AHL San Jose in 2025-26. The 25-year-old blueliner hasn't made his NHL debut, and he's likely to remain in the minors for the remainder of the campaign.

Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Set to face Carolina
Luukkonen is expected to start on the road against Carolina on Monday, per Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550.
Alex Lyon (lower body) is dressing as the backup goaltender after being activated off injured reserve Monday. Luukkonen has a 10-6-2 record, 2.72 GAA and .901 save percentage in 18 outings in 2025-26. He stopped 30 of 35 shots en route to a 5-4 overtime loss to Minnesota on Saturday. Carolina has a commanding 30-15-4 record this campaign, and the Hurricanes have won their past two games while outscoring the competition 13-2 over that span.

Capitals' Justin Sourdif: Removed from IR
Sourdif (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Monday, according to Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.
Following a three-game absence, Sourdif is poised to return to the lineup against Colorado on Monday. He has registered nine goals, 19 points, 59 shots on net and 55 hits across 45 appearances this season.

Fabbro (lower body) might be back in a week or so, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports Monday.
Fabbro left Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over Pittsburgh because of the injury. He has three goals, seven points, 16 PIM, 42 hits and 81 blocks in 48 appearances with Columbus this season. Jake Christiansen is likely to draw into the lineup Tuesday versus Ottawa due to Fabbro's injury.

Hellebuyck is slated to start on the road against Chicago on Monday, per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site.
Hellebuyck has a 12-12-5 record, 2.76 GAA and .901 save percentage in 29 outings in 2025-26. He has surrendered three or more goals in six of his past seven outings. Chicago has lost its past three games while being outscored 12-4 over that stretch.
