Flames' Zayne Parekh: Back from conditioning loan
Parekh (upper body) was recalled from his conditioning loan from AHL Calgary on Saturday.
Parekh had two goals and five points in four AHL outings during his conditioning stint. He has one assist, 11 shots on goal, five blocked shots and five hits in 11 NHL appearances this season. Assuming his upper-body injury isn't an issue anymore, he should be in the mix to play for the Flames before the Olympic break.

Maple Leafs' Jacob Quillan: Sent back to AHL
Quillan was assigned to AHL Toronto on Saturday, per the NHL media site.
In a corresponding move, the Maple Leafs activated William Nylander (groin) from injured reserve. Quillan hasn't earned a point in four NHL appearances this season while providing nine hits. He has notched eight goals and 27 points in 28 AHL contests this campaign.

Bruins' Riley Tufte: Logs three points in AHL win
Tufte scored twice and added an assist in AHL Providence's 4-1 win over Charlotte on Saturday.
Tufte is on a career-best pace at the AHL level, earning 18 goals and 15 assists over 33 games. That includes eight goals and five helpers over 12 outings in January. Tufte got four games with Boston earlier in the NHL campaign, but it's unclear if the 27-year-old will be considered for another call-up.

Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Set to return Saturday
Nylander (groin) has been taken off injured reserve, per the NHL media site. That sets the stage for him to play Saturday in Vancouver.
Nylander is likely to serve on the second line alongside Matias Maccelli and John Tavares. Easton Cowan might be a healthy scratch Saturday after playing in Toronto's past 17 games. Nylander has 17 goals and 48 points in 37 outings in 2025-26. He was last in the lineup Jan. 15.

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Expected starter for Sunday
Hill is expected to start on the road against Anaheim on Sunday, per SinBin.vegas.
Akira Schmid will play between the pipes at home against Seattle on Saturday. Head coach Bruce Cassidy wants to maintain a rotation between the two goaltenders until the Olympic break. That could give Schmid the start at home against Vancouver on Wednesday, while Hill might be in line to play at home against the Kings on Thursday. The 29-year-old Hill has a 3-2-3 record, 3.56 GAA and .855 save percentage in 10 appearances in 2025-26. Anaheim won seven straight games from Jan. 13 to Jan. 25, but the Ducks have dropped their past two while being outscored 9-2 over those losses.

Capitals' Garin Bjorklund: Summoned from AHL
Bjorklund was recalled from AHL Hershey on Saturday.
Washington placed Charlie Lindgren (lower body) on injured reserve in a corresponding move. With Logan Thompson (upper body) also dealing with an injury, Bjorklund or Clay Stevenson could start Saturday's home game against Carolina.

Capitals' Bogdan Trineyev: Recalled Saturday
Trineyev was called up from AHL Hershey on Saturday.
Trineyev has nine goals and 21 points in 32 outings with Hershey in 2025-26. He also has no points, one shot, one hit and two blocks in two outings with Washington this season. Connor McMichael (upper body) and Pierre-Luc Dubois (abdomen) are both on injured reserve, so Trineyev gives the Capitals a 13th healthy forward on the active roster.

Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Shifts to IR
Lindgren (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Washington recalled Garin Bjorklund from AHL Hershey in a corresponding move. Lindgren suffered the injury in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over Detroit and won't return before the Olympic break. He has gone 8-6-3 this season with a 3.37 GAA, an .884 save percentage and one shutout in 18 appearances.

Wolf is set to start at home against San Jose on Saturday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Wolf has a 15-20-3 record, 3.03 GAA and .896 save percentage in 39 outings in 2025-26. This has been a rough campaign for him, and Wolf is trending in the wrong direction with a 1-6-1 record, 3.76 GAA and .879 save percentage across his past eight appearances. San Jose is 10-4-1 while averaging 3.60 goals per game across its past 15 games.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Starting in Florida
Comrie will defend the road crease against the Panthers on Saturday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Comrie has won his past two outings, including a 22-save performance in a 3-1 victory over St. Louis on Jan. 20 in his last start. He has gone 8-9-1 this season with a 3.19 GAA and an .888 save percentage across 18 appearances. Florida sits 20th in the league with 3.04 goals during the 2025-26 campaign.
