Lambo announced his retirement from the NFL on Friday, Adam Stites from Jagswire reports.
Lambo signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2015, following a short stint with FC Dallas in the MLS League. He spent two years with the Chargers, followed by five seasons with the Jaguars, where he hit 76 out of 83 field goals over that time. He played one game with the Titans in 2022, filling in for kicker Randy Bullock before being waived in November. Lambo amassed 530 total points in eight seasons, going 128-for-147 (87.1 percent) on field goals and 146-for-163 (89.7 percent) on extra points.

Josh Lambo: Loses his spot
Rotowire
Lambo was waived by the Titans on Monday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Lambo filled in for Randy Bullock (calf) during Thursday's win over the Packers. The veteran kicker connected on three of his four extra-point attempts, but he did not attempt a field goal. It's unclear whether the team is sure of Bullock's availability for Sunday against the Bengals, or if the Titans would rather pursue another option at kicker. Either way, it appears Lambo will be looking for a new opportunity elsewhere.

Titans' Josh Lambo: Shaky as injury fill-in
Rotowire
Lambo made three of his four extra-point attempts and did not attempt a field goal in Thursday's 27-17 win over the Packers.
Lambo filled in for Randy Bullock (calf) and played a limited role. He attempted only extra points and missed his third try by hitting the right upright. Bullock will have 10 days to recover from his calf injury, and if he does, Lambo will likely return to Tennessee's practice squad.

Titans' Josh Lambo: Signs with Titans
Rotowire
The Titans signed Lambo to their 53-man roster Wednesday.
For at least one week, Lambo will fill in for Randy Bullock, who has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Green Bay with a calf injury. Lambo has converted 87.1 percent of field-goal attempts in his career, but he's had trouble with point-after tries (89.9 percent) and won't get hep from the weather with Thursday's game likely played in sub-freezing temperatures.

Josh Lambo: Joins practice squad
Rotowire
Lambo signed with the Titans' practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Lambo will serve as an emergency option for the team, as Randy Bullock is dealing with a calf issue that he suffered in warmups of Week 10's win over the Broncos. Despite Bullock's ability to play through the injury Sunday, he is considered questionable for Thursday's game with the Packers. If he is unable to play, Lambo will now be in line to handle kicking duties.

Josh Lambo: Released Tuesday
Rotowire
Lambo was released from the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Lambo was signed on Nov. 2 as an emergency replacement for kicker Chris Boswell, who suffered a concussion in Week 8. Boswell was cleared from protocols in time for Monday's game, and Lambo was not needed.

Josh Lambo: Joins Pittsburgh's practice squad
Rotowire
Lambo was signed to the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday.
The Steelers kicker, Chris Boswell, suffered a concussion during a fake field-goal attempt in Week 8, so Lambo will provide kicking insurance in case Boswell is unable to play in Week 9. After a bad start to the season (0-3 on field-goal attempts and 5-for-7 on extra-point tries), Lambo was released by the Jaguars on Oct. 19 in favor of Matthew Wright. The 30-year-old will likely only be used in an emergency.

Josh Lambo: Released by Jaguars
Rotowire
The Jaguars released Lambo on Tuesday.
Lambo's release comes as little surprise after Matthew Wright handled kicking duties ahead of the veteran for the Jaguars' last two contests and came through in the clutch in the Week 6 win over the Dolphins in London, where he hit a 53-yard field-goal as time expired. Before sitting out Week 4 due to a personal issue, Lambo's job security was already on shaky ground after he went 0-for-3 on field-goal tries and 5-for-7 on point-after attempts through Jacksonville's first three contests.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Not kicking again
Rotowire
Lambo (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in London, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Though he's available again after sitting out the Jaguars' Week 4 game in Cincinnati for personal reasons, Lambo will remain a healthy inactive for the second straight week. Matthew Wright has overtaken Lambo as the Jaguars' top kicker.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Inactive Sunday
Rotowire
Lambo (coach's decision) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Matthew Wright was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game, and it's not a major surprise he'll end up handling kicking duties. Lambo retains his spot on the roster for now, but the Jaguars could move on completely if Wright performs well after making all three PATs in his team debut last week.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Fellow kicker elevated
Rotowire
The Jaguars have elevated Matthew Wright to the team's active roster, an indication that he'll likely handle kicking duties instead of Lambo on Sunday against the Titans, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Lambo went 0-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 5-for-7 on PATs through three games before missing Week 4's contest for personal reasons. With Wright now having been elevated by the team for the second week in a row, it appears as though he could once again handle placekicking duties Sunday versus Tennessee.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Remains in competition
Rotowire
Coach Urban Meyer said Friday that Lambo and Matthew Wright remain in close competition for the Jaguars' Week 5 kicking job and that a decision will be made Saturday, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Lambo is 0-for-3 on field goals and 5-for-7 on PATs through three games before missing Week 4 for personal reasons, and Wright converted three PATs in his absence. Lambo was 76-for-80 on field-goal attempts over the previous four seasons, so the Jaguars are hoping he can quickly rediscover that form before turning to Wright, who is currently on the practice squad.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Competing for kicking job
Rotowire
Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer said that Lambo will compete with Matthew Wright in practices this week for the team's kicking job, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Lambo returned to the team Monday after missing the Jaguars' Week 4 loss to the Bengals for personal reasons, and he'll now have to fight to retain his spot on the roster. The 30-year-old is 0-for-3 on field-goal attempts -- two of which were from 50-plus yards -- and 5-for-7 on point-after attempts this season. Wright, who is currently on the practice squad, filled in against the Bengals and made all three of his extra-point attempts while not attempting a field goal.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Returns to team
Rotowire
Coach Urban Meyer said Monday that Lambo (personal) has rejoined the team, Demetrius Harvey of Sports Illustrated reports.
Lambo missed Thursday's game against the Bengals due to a personal reason. However, the 30-year-old will compete with Matthew Wright for kicking duties ahead of Sunday's Week 5 matchup against Tennessee.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Misses two PATs
Rotowire
Lambo made one of three extra-point attempts and did not attempt a field goal during Sunday's 31-19 loss to Arizona.
Lambo remains 0-for-3 on field-goal attempts (two of which were beyond 50 yards) this season and can now add a pair of missed PATs to his ledger. The 30-year-old missed only four field goals and six PATs in 43 games across his first four seasons in Jacksonville, but he's enduring some serious struggles in 2021. The Jaguars seem likely to at least try out some kickers this week, and Lambo figures to have a short leash if he receives another opportunity.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Misses both FGAs
Rotowire
Lambo made his lone extra-point attempt and missed both field-goal attempts during Sunday's 23-13 loss to Denver.
Lambo didn't receive any easy opportunities as both field-goal attempts came during the second quarter from 48 and 52 yards, but it's certainly not encouraging to see him missing both attempts. The 30-year-old's only attempted field goal during the season opener came from farther out at 55 yards, and he has yet to convert through the first two games of the season. Jacksonville's offensive struggles certainly haven't helped, but Lambo is off to a poor start in 2021.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Misses from long distance
Rotowire
Lambo missed his lone field-goal attempt but converted all three PATs during Sunday's 37-21 loss to the Texans.
Lambo was off target wide left on a 55-yard field-goal attempt during the first quarter, and that would be his only try of the day as Jacksonville faced a significant deficit much of the afternoon. The 30-year-old could see limited opportunities throughout the season if the Jaguars are unable to be more competitive.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Perfect close to preseason
Rotowire
Lambo converted both field-goal attempts and all four extra-point attempts during Sunday's preseason win over the Cowboys.
Lambo was 2-for-4 on field goals through the first two exhibition games with the misses coming from 43 and 47 yards, but he got back on track Sunday by converting from 34 and 45 yards. The 30-year-old had some competition early in camp with he and Aldrick Rosas alternating attempts, but the latter was let go and recently signed with the Saints. Lambo is 76-for-80 on field-goal attempts since joining the Jaguars in 2017, and given that accuracy, he could be a solid fantasy option this year while reaping the benefits of a revamped offense led by rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Facing competition
Rotowire
Lambo (hip) and Aldrick Rosas were alternating field-goal attempts in "pressurized situations" during mandatory minicamp, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Lambo is 76-for-80 on field goals since signing with Jacksonville in 2017, but his role isn't guaranteed entering 2021 after he missed 12 games last season due to a hip injury. The 30-year-old carries a $4.375 million cap hit but could be cut with a dead cap of $1.75 million, so there would be some cap savings should the Jaguars opt to move on. Lambo remains the favorite for the job, but he may need a solid showing in training camp in order to earn the trust of new coach Urban Meyer.

Jaguars' Josh Lambo: Shifts to season-ending IR
Rotowire
The Jaguars placed Lambo (hip) on season-ending injured reserve Monday.
Lambo has already come off injured reserve once this season, so he won't be eligible to return again. The 29-year-old aggravated a gluteus medius muscle injury while attempting an onside kick in the final two minutes of Sunday's loss to the Texans. In four appearances with the Jaguars in 2020, Lambo converted all five of his field-goal tries and eight of 10 extra-point attempts. Jacksonville signed Aldrick Rosas to the practice squad Monday, and it's always possible the team will reach back out to Jonathan Brown or Brandon Wright (groin), both of whom previously filled in for Lambo this season.
