  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: No targets in loss

Boyd was not targeted in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Chargers. Boyd was seemingly limited by a shoulder injury Week 9, which explained his low snap rate and lack of targets. However, he was back on the field for 61 percent of offensive snaps in Sunday's loss, meaning his lack of involvement suggests he isn't a big part of Tennessee's game plan. Given that the Titans won't be contending for a playoff spot down the stretch, the team could continue to give younger players more opportunity across the second half of the season.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Cleared for Week 10

Boyd (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers after practicing fully Friday. Boyd was limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday, but the wideout's return to a full session Friday sets the stage for him to be available versus Los Angeles. Through eight contests to date, Boyd has compiled a 21-184-0 line on 30 targets, a pace that limits his fantasy lineup utility to deeper formats.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Remains limited Thursday

Boyd (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Boyd was cleared to play against New England last week due to the injury, but he played a season-low 29 percent of the offensive snaps and didn't see a single target in the pass game. He has just 21 catches for 184 scoreless yards on 30 targets through eight games this season and isn't a recommended fantasy play.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Begins week with limited practice

Boyd (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Boyd's shoulder injury may have played a role in his limited involvement against the Patriots in Week 9, as he played a season-low 21 snaps on offense and wasn't targeted. If he's healthy enough to play this Sunday against the Chargers, Boyd won't make for a reliable option in fantasy lineups after having contributed only 184 receiving yards without a touchdown through eight games.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Role shrinks

Boyd was not targeted in Sunday's 20-17 overtime win against the Patriots. He recorded one rush for three yards. Boyd was on the field for a season-low 21 offensive snaps, a 29 percent rate. As a result, he failed to record a catch for the first time this season. Boyd's usage has been a disappointment since the departure of DeAndre Hopkins, and he seems to be falling further out of favor in Tennessee.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Set to face New England

Boyd (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Boyd failed to practice throughout the week, but like teammate Tony Pollard (foot), he will nevertheless be active. Boyd has seen 11 targets combined across his last two games while playing around 60 percent of snaps. Despite the decent workload, Boyd recorded only 57 total yards in those two contests.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Looks set for Sunday

Boyd (shoulder), who is questionable for Sunday's contest against New England, is expect to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Boyd didn't practice at all this week due to a shoulder issue, but he was nonetheless given a chance to play with a questionable tag heading into the weekend. It appears the veteran wideout will indeed be able to suit up Sunday, which should be a boost to Tennessee's air attack. Boyd has put up modest numbers this season but has at least two catches in every game thus far and logged a season-high six targets last Sunday versus Detroit.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Questionable for Week 9

Boyd (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Boyd is one of four Titans listed as questionable after not practicing at all this week. His role didn't seem to change much after DeAndre Hopkins was traded, in any case, with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine stepping in across from Calvin Ridley while Boyd continued working as a low-ADOT No. 3 receiver.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Another missed practice

Boyd (shoulder) remained sidelined at practice Thursday. While Boyd maintained his practice level from Wednesday, fellow wideout Calvin Ridley (shoulder) returned to a full practice Thursday. Boyd now has one more chance to practice as Sunday's game against the Patriots approaches, but if he's unavailable this weekend, the Titans would need to summon help from the practice squad to bolster their WR depth behind Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Boyd didn't practice Wednesday due to a shoulder injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Fellow wideout Calvin Ridley (shoulder) also sat out practice, so both receivers' practice activity will be worth monitoring ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots. With DeAndre Hopkins now with the Chiefs and with Treylon Burks (knee) on injured reserve, Boyd and Ridley are in line to maintain steady roles in Tennessee's passing attack along with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. After recorded three catches for 14 yards in a 52-14 loss to the Lions in Week 8, Boyd is maintaining a season-long receiving line of 21-184-0 on 30 targets through seven games.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Targeted six times in loss

Boyd recorded three catches on six targets for 14 yards in Sunday's loss 52-14 loss to the Lions. Boyd finished second on the team with six targets, though he didn't take advantage. He should continue to operate as a key member of Tennessee's wide receiver corps with DeAndre Hopkins now in Kansas City, though that's not likely to lead to much production given the state of the team's offense.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Another three catches

Boyd recorded three receptions (on three targets) for 19 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Colts. Boyd continued in his typical role as the primary slot receiver in Tennessee's offense and has seen at least three targets in all but one game this season while recording two or three catches in every contest. Though he has a stable role, he hasn't topped 33 yards in any game, in part due to the stagnant Titans scheme.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Records 31 yards

Boyd recorded two receptions on two targets for 31 yards in Monday's 31-12 win over the Dolphins. Only DeAndre Hopkins saw more than two targets in the Titans' offense during Monday's win. Boyd did manage to tie with Hopkins for the team lead in yardage thanks to a 27-yard reception just before halftime. Despite the relative positivity, Boyd has yet to top 33 receiving yards in a game this season.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Records 33 yards

Boyd recorded three catches (on four targets) for 33 yards in Sunday's 30-14 loss to the Packers. Boyd has had a steady role in the Tennessee offense through three games, tallying at least four targets while playing 70-plus percent of snaps in each contest. That's still led to relatively little production, as Sunday's performance was his highest yardage total of the campaign.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Held to two catches

Boyd recorded two receptions (on five targets) for 26 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets. Boyd was on the field for the second-most snaps among the Titans' receiving corps as DeAndre Hopkins continues to ramp up from a knee injury. Boyd's time on the field hasn't translated to production, however, as he has just five catches for 44 yards combined across his first two games with Tennessee.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Three catches in Titans debut

Boyd recorded three receptions (on five targets) for 18 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Bears. Boyd was on the field for 83 percent of snaps, the second-highest on the team as DeAndre Hopkins was limited by a long-term knee injury. Despite finishing second on the team in targets, Boyd had limited production due to working primarily in the short areas of the field. He should maintain a significant role in the Tennessee offense, though it's unclear how effective Will Levis will be distributing the ball.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Makes first connection with Levis

Boyd caught his only target for 22 yards in Sunday's 30-27 preseason win over the Saints. Boyd and the first-team offense played two drives, and the veteran slot receiver got the chance to record his first catch on a Will Levis pass in a game situation. Both Boyd and fellow offseason addition Calvin Ridley are expected to play key roles in Tennessee's passing game, and Boyd could see some extra attention from Levis in the Sept. 8 regular-season opener against the Bears if wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is unavailable or limited.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Waiting on first catch with Titans

Boyd did not play in Saturday's 16-15 preseason win over the Seahawks. The Titans have opted to play their starters sparingly this preseason, as Will Levis has attempted only five passes. Boyd has yet to find the stat sheet as a result, but he should have a significant role in the offense, particularly so long as DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is sidelined.

  • Titans' Tyler Boyd: Finds home in Tennessee

Boyd and the Titans agreed to terms Tuesday on a one-year contract worth up to $4.5 million, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Boyd becomes the newest member of a revamped Tennessee wide receiver corps that added Calvin Ridley atop the depth chart in free agency, joining DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks. Ridley and Hopkins figure to operate as Will Levis' clear top targets, as both exceeded 1,000 receiving yards last season. Boyd's experience as a slot option could make him the favorite to secure the No. 3 role over Burks, who lined up in the slot over 60 percent of the time last year. In both 2018 and 2019, Boyd himself topped 1,000 yards, but in four seasons since took a clear backseat to Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins with the Bengals.

  • Tyler Boyd: Interested in joining hometown team

Boyd and the Steelers have mutual interest, though no signing is imminent for the veteran free-agent receiver, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports. Boyd is from Western Pennsylvania and went to college at Pittsburgh, so it comes as little surprise that he has interest in joining one of the Bengals' division rivals. He spent the first eight years of his career in Cincinnati, where he topped 1,000 yards in 2018 and again in 2019 before taking a back seat in the Bengals offense to Tee Higgins and then Ja'Marr Chase. The 29-year-old has mostly worked out of the slot, especially in recent years, but he could also get perimeter snaps in a Pittsburgh offense with minimal talent at wideout behind George Pickens.
