Tennessee signed Morgan to its practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. • Stanley Morgan: Let go by Saints

Morgan was released by the Saints on Tuesday. Morgan reeled in four catches for 47 yards during the preseason after signing with New Orleans in March. • Saints' Stanley Morgan: Logs one catch in preseason opener

Morgan (hip) caught one of four targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 16-14 preseason win against the Cardinals. Morgan was dealing with a hip injury leading into Saturday's exhibition, but he managed to play 31 offensive snaps and should be healthy moving forward. The 27-year-old first got on the field in the second quarter and was out there for the final offensive series of the game, and he ended up tied with No.1 wideout Chris Olave and second-year wideout A.T. Perry for a team high in targets. Morgan's availability should help him in his goal of making the final 53-man roster, as fellow wideouts Equanimeous St. Brown (hamstring), Mason Tipton (hamstring) and Bub Means all did not play.
