  • Patriots' Mike Brown: Heading to New England

The Patriots signed Brown (ankle) to a contract Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Brown appeared in nine regular-season games for the Titans in 2025 and had two stints on injured reserve due to knee and ankle injuries. He served almost exclusively on special teams and logged three solo tackles for Tennessee last year. Brown's addition gives the Patriots added depth in the secondary and another contributor on special teams.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Exits game with ankle injury

Brown (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the 49ers. Brown appeared to sustain the injury in the first half, and he is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return. Xavier Woods (hamstring) is also questionable to return, so Kendell Brooks is poised for a larger role in the defense for as long as both Brown and Woods are sidelined.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Activated off IR

The Titans activated Brown off injured reserve Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official website reports. Following Brown's 21-day practice window opening Monday, the 26-year-old was able to string together back-to-back full practices. The fourth-year player will be available for the first time since he suffered a knee injury in Week 4. Brown has tallied just one tackle in his four games played this season.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Placed on IR

The Titans placed Brown (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Brown popped up on the team's injury report earlier in the week and will now have to miss at least four games. The 26-year-old has tallied just one solo tackle across four outings while playing exclusively on special teams.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Won't play against Arizona

Brown (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Brown has been working through a knee injury, and the issue is severe enough for him to miss the final two practices of the week. He'll be sidelined for Sunday's road contest, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 6 against the Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 12. Brown has one solo tackle through four games while serving solely in a special-teams role.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Four starts in 2024

Brown registered 49 tackles (26 solo) and one pass defense over 17 regular-season games in 2024. Brown was mostly utilized on special teams over the Titans' first seven regular-season games. He played at least 44 defensive snaps over the following four games (starting in three of them) due to Quandre Diggs suffering a season-ending foot injury in Week 9, and Brown accumulated 23 tackles (13 solo) over that span. Brown is an exclusive rights free agent, which means he won't be able to negotiate a contract with another team if the Titans extend a qualifying offer to the 25-year-old safety.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Solid in starting effort

Brown recorded seven tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Chargers. Brown made his first start of the season with Quandre Diggs (foot) on injured reserve, and he impressed by ranking second on the team in tackles. However, Brown's starting gig isn't guaranteed, especially with the Titans bringing in Mike Edwards via waivers. If Brown can lock down the role, he'll be considered a solid fantasy option.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Next man up at safety

Brown is Tennessee's presumed starter at safety after Quandre Diggs' season-ending Lisfranc injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Diggs was forced out of Sunday's game versus the Patriots after just 13 defensive snaps, and Brown filled in admirably for the rest of the afternoon, recording six tackles and a pass defensed. He's now in line to start in Week 10 against the Chargers and beyond.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Ready for return

Brown (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Brown has been sidelined since Week 3 with an ankle injury but was activated from injured reserve Saturday and will suit up for the Titans' Week 11 contest. He played primarily on special teams prior to being sidelined and will likely occupy the same role moving forward.

  • Titans' Mike Brown: Won't return Sunday

Brown (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. The second-year safety out of Miami (Ohio) was designated to return from injured reserve in late October, and even after a full week of practices, he won't suit up for this Sunday's contest. Brown appeared in three games for Tennessee before suffering an ankle injury, and he recorded one pass deflection while primarily playing on special teams.
