  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: TD catch opens scoring Sunday

Douglas caught both of his targets for 36 yards and a TD in Sunday's 28-16 divisional-round win over the Texans. Though Douglas finished fifth among New England WRs with 17 snaps on offense, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, he still managed to make a mark with a 28-yard score to give his team a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. As Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos approaches, Douglas continues to carry modest fantasy upside at best given that he hasn't seen more than three targets in a game since Week 9.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: One catch Sunday

Douglas caught one of his two targets for three yards in Sunday's 16-3 wild-card win over the Chargers. Douglas recorded a 33 percent snap share in the contest, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, and once again saw a modest target share in an offense that tends to spread the ball around. The slot man carries modest fantasy upside as the Patriots divisional-round game against either the Steelers or Texans this coming weekend approaches.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Two catches Sunday

Douglas caught two of his three targets for 29 yards in the Patriots' 38-10 win over the Dolphins in Sunday's regular-season finale. Per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Douglas recorded a 25 percent snap share in Week 18, while fellow slot man Efton Chism was out there for 44 percent of the Patriots' snaps on offense Sunday. As the postseason approaches, Douglas brings modest fantasy upside to the table following a regular season in which he totaled a career-low 31 catches on 46 targets for 447 yards and three TDs in 17 contests.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Little production in Week 17 win

Douglas caught one of two targets for 10 yards in the Patriots' 42-10 win over the Jets on Sunday. Douglas was one of the lone Patriots to do very little in the box score, as Drake Maye went 19-for-21 passing for 256 yards and five touchdowns. Douglas entered the game with a hamstring issue but was active versus New York, though his two targets were tied for the fewest on the team. After producing at least 30 receiving yards in six straight games from Weeks 8 to 13, Douglas has totaled two catches for 16 yards on four targets across the past four contests. He's a bit player in the New England offense.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Active versus Jets

Douglas (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jets. Douglas was deemed limited on all three practice reports this week before being listed as questionable for the contest. With his active status versus New York confirmed, Douglas will have an opportunity to contribute out of the slot Sunday, while working in a New England WR corps that will be without Kayshon Boutte (concussion) and Mack Hollins (abdomen, IR). If, however, Douglas is limited at all or suffers any setbacks, rookie Efton Chism is a candidate to pick up added snaps, while Stefon Diggs and Kyle Williams profile as key Week 17 targets for QB Drake Maye in the absence of Boutte and Hollins.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Questionable for Week 17

Douglas (hamstring) has been deemed questionable to play against the Jets on Sunday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports. Douglas was labeled as limited in all three practices this week as he manages the hamstring injury he suffered last Sunday against Baltimore. He seems to be legitimately iffy to suit up Sunday, so fantasy managers who roster the third-year wideout may need to wait until the Patriots list their inactives about 90 minutes ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff to confirm his status. Both Kayshon Boutte (concussion) and Mack Hollins (abdomen) have been ruled out for Sunday, so if Douglas is able to suit up, he would likely have an elevated role in the team's passing game. Kyle Williams and Efton Chism should take on more offensive snaps than usual, regardless of whether Douglas plays.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Opens week with limited practice

Douglas (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Douglas injured his hamstring during the Patriots' Week 16 win over the Ravens, and he finished that contest having played just 13 of 74 offensive snaps (17.6 percent) while logging one catch (on two targets) for six yards. His ability to practice in a limited capacity indicates that the injury isn't considered a long-term issue, and he'll likely avoid an injury designation for Sunday's AFC East clash against the Jets if he is able to practice fully by Friday. Rookies Kyle Williams and Efton Chism would be slated for larger roles on offense if Douglas is unable to play Week 17.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Hurts hamstring on SNF

Douglas (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Ravens. Prior to being deemed questionable to return, Douglas caught one of two targets for six yards. He had no targets in New England's Week 15 loss to the Bills.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: One carry Sunday

Douglas was on the field for 10 out of a possible 52 snaps on offense in Sunday's 35-31 loss to the Bills, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. Douglas wasn't targeted in Sunday's contest, but he did record one carry for five yards. As long as fellow WRs Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins continue to out-touch and out-snap him, Douglas' fantasy utility will remain modest.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: One catch in Week 12

Douglas, who was on the field for 12 of 71 snaps on offense in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Bengals per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught his only target for 37 yards. Douglas added 14 rushing yards on his lone carry. With Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins all typically seeing more playing time than Douglas, the 24-year-old slot man remains a risky fantasy option ahead of next Monday's game against the Giants.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Three catches versus Jets

Douglas caught all three of his targets for 36 yards and carried once for minus-5 yards in Thursday's 27-14 win over the Jets. With Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) inactive for the second straight contest, Douglas, who logged 19 snaps Thursday, was once again outsnapped by fellow WRs Mack Hollins (57), Stefon Diggs (46) and Kyle Williams (45), per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. In 11 games, Douglas has recorded a receiving line of 23 catches (on 35 targets) for 332 yards and three TDs, a rate of production (while working in an offense that spreads the ball around) that has yielded modest fantasy value thus far.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Two catches in win over Bucs

Douglas, who was on the field for 13 of a possible 61 snaps on offense in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Buccaneers, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught both of his targets in the contest for 34 yards. Even with Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) inactive Sunday, Douglas was out-snapped by fellow WRs Mack Hollins (48), Stefon Diggs (36) and Kyle Williams (34). Through 10 games to date while working in a New England offense that spreads the ball around on a weekly basis, Douglas has recorded a total of 20 catches (on 32 targets) for 296 yards and three TDs. As Thursday night's game against the Jets approaches, Douglas continues to profile as a hit-or-miss fantasy lineup option in deeper formats.

  • Patriots' Demario Douglas: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) was injured in Week 9 against Atlanta, and Douglas stepped up with four catches for 100 yards and a touchdown on six targets. It was his best game of the season with 20 PPR points, but he's now scored at least 16.1 PPR points in two of his past four outings. Keep an eye on what happens with Boutte, and Douglas could emerge as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. He's worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Best game of season in Week 9 win

Douglas caught four of six targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-23 win over the Falcons. Douglas scored a 16-yard touchdown on New England's first drive and broke free for a 58-yard gain in the second quarter. He accounted for 100 of Drake Maye's 259 passing yards, while no Patriots teammate had more than 51 receiving yards. Douglas should remain involved out of the slot in Week 10 against the Buccaneers after setting season highs Sunday in both catches and receiving yards.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Decreased workload in Week 4

Douglas was on the field for eight of a possible 49 snaps on offense in Sunday's 42-13 win over the Panthers, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. In the process, the slot receiver didn't record a target, with Reiss noting that Douglas' dip in playing time corresponded with Stefon Diggs' snap share increasing Sunday. Though there will be weeks where Douglas is more involved in the offense, be it via game plan or game flow, his 5-13-1 line on 13 targets through four games has him off the fantasy lineup radar for now.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: One catch Sunday

Douglas, who was on the field for 15 of a possible 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Dolphins, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught his only target in the contest for eight yards. With the Patriots rolling with their share of multi-TE groupings in Week 2, in addition to the team mixing which WRs were on the field in three-WR alignments, Douglas saw a dip in playing time Sunday. Looking ahead, game plans and game flows in the coming weeks could lead to added opportunities for Douglas, but with a 3-6-1 receiving line (on eight targets) through two games, the Patriots' slot man profiles as a hit-or-miss option in PPR formats.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Minimal production in Week 1 loss

Douglas secured two of seven targets for minus-2 yards and a touchdown while rushing once for four yards in the Patriots' 20-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Douglas' final receiving line was odd to say the least, considering he managed the unlikely feat of recording a touchdown yet finishing with negative yardage overall. The third-year pro saved his day from being a total washout with his two-yard scoring grab late in the first quarter, but the likes of Kayshon Boutte (6-103), Stefon Diggs (6-57) and Hunter Henry (4-66) were all much more involved. It remains to be seen if Week 1 usage will be indicative of a more concentrated Patriots air attack this season, with the next opportunity to see the matter play out coming in the form of a Week 2 road matchup against the Dolphins.

  • Patriots' Demario Douglas: Sleeper WRs

We need to keep an eye on Stefon Diggs (knee) and if he'll be limited in his first game back from last year's torn ACL. But even if Diggs plays every offensive snap, I still expect Douglas to have a big role from Drake Maye. As the slot receiver for Josh McDaniels, Douglas should get plenty of targets, and he's worth trusting as a No. 3 Fantasy option in PPR leagues in Week 1.

  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Fails to catch only target Saturday

Douglas didn't catch his only target in Saturday's 20-12 preseason win over the Vikings. Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins got the start at wide receiver for the Patriots, but Douglas made a brief cameo on the team's first possession and couldn't connect with Drake Maye on a shot downfield. The 2023 sixth-round pick seems locked into a starting job opposite Stefon Diggs (knee) once the regular season begins, and if Maye takes the leap forward expected of him in his second NFL campaign, Douglas should be able to surpass the 66-621-3 line he posted on 87 targets over 17 games last season.
... See More ... See Less
  • Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Displaying consistency in camp

Douglas has been the Patriots' most consistent receiver in training camp thus far, according to Paul Perillo of the team's official site. The third-year wideout logged 66 catches on 87 targets for 621 yards and three TDs in 17 regular-season games in 2024 and has been showing improvement as a route runner in camp. With Josh McDaniels having been brought back as the Patriots offensive coordinator ahead of the 2025 campaign, Douglas has an opportunity to make his mark in PPR formats, while working in an offensive system that tends to feature its top slot receiver. In addition to Douglas' strong showing, projected No. 1 wideout Stefon Diggs continues to look sharp as he bounces back from a knee injury, giving second-year quarterback Drake Maye a solid platform from which to grow as a passer.
