Cron is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Tigers.

Cron finds himself on the bench for the third straight contest as he has a .236/.311/.364 slash line in August. Ehire Adrianza will start at first base and bat seventh Friday for the Twins.

Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Dodgers.

Guerrero crushed a curveball over the center field wall in the sixth inning to stake Toronto to a 2-0 lead. The 20-year-old has enjoyed a tremendous August, batting .381 (24-for-63) with four homers and 12 RBI in 18 games. In his rookie season, Guerrero is now slashing .282/.356/.477 with 15 long balls and 55 runs batted in over 396 plate appearances.

Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday against the Marlins.

Freeman took Ryne Stanek deep in the eighth inning to record his 34th home run of the season, while also knotting the game at 2-2. He's gone an uncharacteristic 6-for-31 across his last eight contests, though he continues to provide plenty of pop as he's smacked five homers in that span. For the season, Freeman has maintained a strong .304/.395/.575 line across 570 plate appearances.

Raley (ankle) began a rehab assignment in the Gulf Coast League on Thursday, going 1-for-4 with a solo home run.

He has been out with a dislocated tendon in his left ankle since mid-May, but is making a run at getting back to Triple-A this season. He is not on the 40-man roster, so he is unlikely to make it to the big leagues this season.

Cooper is not in Thursday's lineup against the Braves, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.

He will sit for a second game in a row, with Neil Walker getting another start at first base while hitting cleanup. Prior to these two days off, Cooper had started 12 of 13 games. He is hitting .246 with one home run in 61 at-bats this month.

Rizzo went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and three runs Wednesday in the Cubs' 12-11 win over the Giants.

Rizzo notched an extra-base hit for the third game in a row and benefited from being in the heart of the order on a night in which the Cubs exploded for their most runs of the second half. While baseball's power-happy environment in 2019 hasn't dramatically elevated Rizzo's production, his .290 average and 25 home runs, 80 RBI and 80 runs just over three quarters through the season is roughly on par with what his fantasy managers probably expected on draft day.

Santana went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and an additional run Wednesday in the Indians' 4-3 loss to the Mets in 10 innings.

Santana's 30th home run of the season came in the top of the 10th and broke a 2-2 tie, but his heroic effort went for naught when closer Brad Hand melted down in the bottom of the inning. The 33-year-old's career-best campaign had already been flying somewhat under the radar, but he may begin garnering some more attention in light of his recent form at the dish. Over his last 10 games, Santana is slashing .421/.532/.947 with six home runs, 14 RBI, 13 runs and a 9:7 BB:K.

Tellez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday in the Blue Jays' 2-1 loss to the Dodgers in 10 innings.

Tellez sent the game to extra innings after teeing off on closer Kenley Jansen for a one-out, 401-foot blast in the top of the ninth. While the clutch home run was nice, Tellez hasn't done much else since returning from Triple-A Buffalo last week to generate fantasy intrigue outside of AL-only and deeper mixed leagues.

Cabrera went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 11-1 win over the Pirates.

It's his 14th homer of the season and second as a Nat, and both have come within the last three games. Cabrera's now 12-for-37 (.324) since coming over from the Rangers, but his .244/.329/.417 slash line on the year offers a better reflection of his fantasy potential.

Abreu went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Twins.

Abreu was a major factor in the White Sox' offensive effort Wednesday, recording two RBI singles. While he didn't extend his homer streak to three games, Abreu now has 11 RBI across his last 10 games, recording at least one hit in eight of the contests. For the season, Abreu is now slashing .276/.316/.499 across 541 plate appearances.
