Singleton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.

Despite Baltimore sending right-hander Corbin Burnes to the mound Saturday, the lefty-hitting Singleton will begin the game in the dugout. In Friday's 14-11 win over the Orioles, Singleton went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Mauricio Dubon will shift to first base while Chas McCormick gets the nod in right field.

Joe isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Saturday's game versus Tampa Bay.

Joe has gone 0-for-13 with four strikeouts in his last four games, and he'll now get a day to regroup Saturday. His absence will open up a spot in right field for Edward Olivares to start while batting seventh.

The Red Sox optioned Dalbec to Triple-A Worcester on Saturday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

The move corresponds with Wilyer Abreu (ankle) being reinstated from the injured list. Dalbec has struggled at the plate since being recalled by the Red Sox on June 2, going 4-for-30 with four RBI and a 44.1 percent strikeout rate. He'll look to get his swing right in Triple-A, where he is slashing .245/.330/.529 with eight home runs and 21 RBI over 115 plate appearances.

Wade (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Wade has been on the injured list since the end of May due to a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. The Giants haven't indicated how long Wade will remain on assignment at Triple-A, but considering he has been sidelined for nearly a month, it's likely he'll need to play a handful of games with Sacramento before returning from the IL.

Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Guardians.

The first baseman took Carlos Carrasco deep in the fourth inning, but it was all the offense the Blue Jays could muster in a 7-1 loss. Guerrero hadn't gone yard since June 6, and while he continues to scald the ball -- he's in the 99th percentile in average exit velocity and hard-hit rate -- a 5.9 degree average launch angle is costing him power. On the season, he's batting .281 with a career-low .406 SLG, eight homers and 31 RBI in 75 games.

Soderstrom went 2-for-2 with an RBI single, a two-run double, a walk and a run in a win over the Twins on Friday.

Soderstrom's stellar night at the plate began with a first-inning RBI single that plated Abraham Toro (hamstring) and was followed up by a two-bagger in the fifth that drove home Miguel Andujar and Brent Rooker. The rookie has been on a tear at the plate since early June, producing a .314/.397/.588 slash line with six extra-base hits, 11 RBI and an acceptable 20.7 percent strikeout rate across the 58 plate appearances covering his last 15 games.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

The first baseman went back-to-back with Bryan De La Cruz in the sixth inning to tie the score, and the Marlins would eventually collect their third straight walk-off win. The streaky Bell has nine hits in the last five games, but that comes on the heels of an 0-for-21 slump over the prior six contests. On the season, he carries a .251/.313/.389 slash line in 75 games with eight homers and 33 RBI.

Olson went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 8-1 win over the Yankees.

His fourth-inning shot off Carlos Rodon helped chase the southpaw from the game as part of a three-homer, eight-XBH barrage from Atlanta. Olson's bat has come alive in June, and through 74 plate appearances on the month he's slashing .309/.365/.574 with four of his 12 long balls on the year and 10 of his 40 RBI.

Arraez went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-5 win over the Brewers.

Arraez entered Friday with just four hits over his last six games, an unusual lack of production for the contact-heavy infielder. He made an impact with his lone knock Friday, sparking the Padres' comeback with a fifth-inning blast. Over 76 games between the Padres and the Marlins this year, he's slashing .314/.349/.385 with two homers, 21 RBI, 43 runs scored, 15 doubles, a triple and three stolen bases. He's the only player in the majors with over 100 hits so far in 2024, but that's led to his usual empty batting average, as he offers little in the way of power or speed and won't generate many RBI as a leadoff hitter.

Cronenworth went 5-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, two RBI and four runs scored in Friday's 9-5 win over the Brewers.

This was Cronenworth's first career five-hit game. He's been locked in lately with five multi-hit efforts over his last 13 contests, going 16-for-50 (.320) in that span. The infielder's big game lifted his slash line to .266/.330/.464 with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 36 runs scored, 17 doubles and one stolen base over 75 contests this season.
