Olson went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in a loss to the Angels on Monday.

Olson reached in all four of his plate appearances and was the only Atlanta hitter to get on base more than once in the contest. The first baseman also plated his team's only run with a solo shot in the fifth inning. Olson has gone deep four times in his past four games, going 7-for-14 with nine RBI over that span.

Wade (back) went 0-for-5 in Monday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Diamondbacks.

Wade had a three-game absence with back tightness. While the 29-year-old has settled in atop the order versus right-handed pitchers, he struggled in July, hitting just .180 with one extra-base hit and an 8:14 BB:K over 18 contests. With Wilmer Flores hitting well and in need of a steadier spot in the lineup, it wouldn't be surprising for that to come at the expense of either Wade or J.D. Davis.

Flores went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Diamondbacks.

Flores ends July on a five-game hitting streak, and he batted .383 (31-for-81) with six homers and 11 RBI in the month. The infielder got the nod at third base Monday, though he may be slipping back into a utility role with LaMonte Wade (back) returning to action following a three-game absence over the weekend. Flores is slashing .298/.354/.537 with 14 homers, 35 RBI, 33 runs scored and 16 doubles over 268 plate appearances this year -- he's done well enough to see more than just a short-side platoon role even when the Giants are mostly healthy in the infield.

Mountcastle went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI in Monday's win over Toronto.

Mountcastle knocked a two-run double in the first inning and later added an RBI sacrifice fly in the third. His results are starting to match his strong batted-ball data; Mountcastle has gone 12-for-34 (.353) with six extra-base hits over his last 11 games. Still, his season slash line sits at a disappointing .245/.282/.450 through 305 plate appearances.

Wade (back) is starting at first base and batting leadoff Monday against Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Back tightness has kept Wade out of San Francisco's lineup for each of its last three games, but the 29-year-old is set to return for Monday's series opener with the D-backs. Wade has been in a bit of a slump at the plate lately, slashing just .192/.364/.192 across 33 plate appearances since the All-Star break.

Manzardo (shoulder) was traded from the Rays to the Guardians in exchange for Aaron Civale on Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

This one-for-one deal is final, as Manzardo goes from the 64-44 Rays to the 53-53 Guardians. Manzardo has been on the 7-day injured list since July 6 due to a sore left shoulder, per Topkin, but he is expected to return to action soon. He hit .238/.342/.442 with 11 home runs, a 20.8 percent strikeout rate and a .269 BABIP in 73 games for Triple-A Durham before landing on the shelf.

France went 3-for-4 with an RBI single in a win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

France extended his on-base streak to 10 games with Sunday's multi-hit effort, his third over that same span. Although the current stretch is certainly encouraging, it's worth noting only one of France's 10 hits during the sample has gone for extra bases, and he has just three -- all doubles -- in 24 contests during July.

Santana went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-6 loss to Atlanta.

Santana is now just 1-for-7 since he was traded to the Brewers, but he made his first hit count, homering off AJ Smith-Shawver in the third inning Sunday to give Milwaukee a 3-2 lead. The 37-year-old Santana has cooled off after a fast start to the season -- he's batting just .185 (15-for-81) in 23 games since the beginning of July. Overall, the veteran first-baseman is slashing .233/.321/.415 with 13 homers, 54 RBI, 46 runs scored and six stolen bases through 402 plate appearances this season.

O'Hearn went 2-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's victory over the Yankees.

O'Hearn knocked a two-run double during Baltimore's seven-run first inning and later added another RBI base knock. He's been hot for most of the month, going 22-for-67 (.328) with nine extra-base hits over his last 22 games. The 30-year-old lefty entered the season with a career .683 OPS but is currently slashing .304/.345/.525 with 22 extra-base hits and 36 RBI through 197 plate appearances.

Padlo was designated for assignment by the Angels on Sunday, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Padlo's contract was selected from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday, but he didn't appear in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Blue Jays. The Angels acquired C.J. Cron and Randal Grichuk from the Rockies on Sunday night, so Padlo will lose his spot on the team's 40-man roster.
