  • Jordan Diaz 3B | ATH

Athletics' Jordan Diaz: Reaches double-digit homers

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in an extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays on Monday.

Diaz's 397-foot shot to center in the seventh inning knotted the game at 3-3 and put him at 10 homers for the season. The rookie's blast snapped a nine-game home-run drought, and it extended a stretch of hot hitting that now sees him boasting a .409 average over his last seven contests.

  • Angels' Brandon Drury: Nails 20th homer

Drury went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a loss to the Orioles.

Drury plated the final run of the contest, belting a solo shot to left-center field in the eighth inning. The long ball was his 20th of the campaign, marking the second straight season he's reached that number. Prior to last year, Drury hadn't hit more than 16 home runs in any of his seven big-league seasons.

  • Jose Altuve 2B | HOU

Astros' Jose Altuve: Four hits, two homers in win

Altuve went 4-for-6 with a pair of solo homers in Monday's win over the Rangers.

Altuve put Houston ahead 5-4 in the sixth inning, blasting a 429-foot homer off Glenn Otto, before capping the scoring with his second longball off Martin Perez in the ninth. Altuve's huge day snapped a brief slump -- he'd gone just 1-for-15 in his previous four games. Overall, he's batting .316 with a .920 OPS, 12 homers, 60 runs scored, 36 RBI and 13 steals across 303 plate appearances this season.

  • Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL

Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Homers twice in win

Dubon went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Monday's victory over the Rangers.

Dubon tied the game 4-4 in the sixth inning with his first home run off Glenn Otto before extending Houston's lead to 12-5 with an opposite-field blast off Martin Perez in the ninth. It's the first multi-homer game of the year for Dubon, who now has a career-high nine long balls this season. While he's retreated to a bench role of late, Dubon's still slashing a solid .274/.304/.404 with 67 runs scored, 39 RBI and seven stolen bases across 438 plate appearances this season.

  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Orioles' Adam Frazier: Out against lefty

Frazier is not in Monday's lineup against the Angels.

He'll head to the bench with lefty Kenny Rosenberg on the hill for the Angels. Jorge Mateo and Jordan Westburg will handle the middle-infield duties with Frazier on the bench.

  • Tony Kemp 2B | MIN

Athletics' Tony Kemp: Delivers in pinch-hit capacity

Kemp entered Sunday's win over the Angels as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and delivered a two-run single in his only plate appearance.

Kemp stepped into the batter's box for Carlos Perez in the seventh inning and snapped a 4-4 tie with a single to center that brought home Zack Gelof, Ryan Noda and Brent Rooker, the latter on a throwing error. Kemp ended up at third base on the play and subsequently came across to score in his own right on a Shea Langeliers double, making it quite the eventful cameo. The veteran recently went through a brief 0-for-12 skid over a five-game span, but he's now hit safely in back-to-back games and sports a .323 average and .916 OPS across his last 14 contests overall.

  • Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT

    Rays' Brandon Lowe: Well-rounded production

Lowe went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base Sunday against the Guardians.

Lowe has started 10 consecutive games for the Rays, including three against left-handed pitching. He's performed well in that span, going 12-for-37 with one homer, seven RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base. Lowe has been a strong per-game contributor throughout the season, and serving in a true everyday role would further improve his outlook.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Swats 24th homer

Torres went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Astros.

Torres missed two games with lower-back tightness. He was the only Yankee with multiple hits in this contest. After batting .327 with seven homers over 28 games in August, the second baseman is in a position to end 2023 on a high note. He's at a .272/.340/.465 slash line, 24 long balls, 58 RBI, 75 runs scored and 13 stolen bases through 134 contests this year.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Back in action Sunday

Torres (back) will start at second base and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Astros.

Torres had missed the previous two games with lower-back tightness, but the Yankees gave him the green light to return to the lineup for the series finale after he completed a pregame workout without issue. Before sitting out Friday and Saturday, Torres closed August with a .355/.444/.839 slash line to go with four home runs and a stolen base over his final eight games of the month.

  • Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Sitting again Sunday

Westburg is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Westburg is sitting against a right-handed starting pitcher (Zac Gallen) and could be starting to move into more of a part-time role. The rookie has gone 3-for-14 with four walks against five strikeouts over his past seven games.
