Keith is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Keith will hit the bench for the third consecutive game, with the Tigers having faced left-handed starting pitchers in each of those contests. The 23-year-old has been getting steady playing time versus right-handed pitching of late at either designated hitter or in the corner infield, though Keith could be at risk of sitting more frequently in those matchups once Matt Vierling (shoulder) returns from the injured list.

LeMahieu is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

LeMahieu went hitless in the first two games of the series and has gone just 1-for-14 over his last six contests. Oswald Peraza will fill in at second base and bat ninth for the Yankees on Wednesday while LeMahieu rests.

Young is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Though he will hit the bench while the Red Sox send star southpaw Garrett Crochet to the mound, the lefty-hitting Young appears to have built up some job security as the Mariners' top second baseman against right-handed pitching. The rookie has slashed .379/.419/.483 with four runs and four RBI over his previous eight starts.

Hamilton will start at second base and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Mariners, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Hamilton will pick up his third consecutive start at the keystone and has been an early beneficiary of Sunday's trade that sent Rafael Devers to San Francisco. His playing time could begin to dry up by the weekend, however, as the Red Sox are preparing to welcome another everyday player in Wilyer Abreu (oblique) from the injured list. Abreu's return will create a logjam in the outfield that could result in Roman Anthony seeing more starts at designated hitter and Kristian Campbell moving back to second base.

Kim (shoulder/hamstring) resumed light baseball activity Monday, MLB.com reports.

Kim was pulled off a rehab assignment Thursday due to hamstring tightness. Assuming his ramp-up goes well, he is expected to resume work with Triple-A Durham within the next week.

Dubon went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, two walks and three total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-3 win over the Athletics.

Dubon was in the lineup for the fifth game in a row, though he's started at three different positions (second base, third base and left field) in that span. Nonetheless, it looks like Dubon will be the primary beneficiary of Jacob Melton (ankle) being sidelined for four weeks after suffering an ankle sprain Friday. Melton's promotion at the start of June had pushed Dubon into more of a reserve role. For the season, Dubon is at a .252/.294/.362 slash line with two homers, 14 RBI, 15 runs scored, eight doubles and two stolen bases across 137 plate appearances. There should be room for him in the lineup as long as his bat is hot.

Campbell is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.

Campbell started the previous nine games -- including a look at designated hitter Monday -- and will receive a day off after batting .280 (7-for-25) with four walks, a double, a homer, five RBI and two runs during that span. The rookie second baseman still has an underwhelming .675 OPS through his first 65 big-league games, but the departure of Rafael Devers to San Francisco should help Campbell maintain a consistent spot in the lineup, at least for the immediate future.

The White Sox activated Sosa (hip) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Sosa missed the last two weeks of action with a right hip flexor strain. He had been serving as Chicago's primary second baseman before getting hurt and will likely slide back into that role.

Moore went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in a 1-0 extra-innings win against the Yankees on Monday.

After getting called up from the minors Friday, Moore began his major-league career with no hits through nine plate appearances. He got into the hit column in fine fashion Monday, stroking a triple to center field in the eighth inning. Moore also scored the only run of the game, coming around on a Nolan Schanuel double in the 11th inning after beginning the frame on second base as the automatic runner. Moore has started three of the Angels' four games since his call-up, so he looks to be getting an opportunity for a near-everyday role, at least while Yoan Moncada (knee) remains on the IL.

Hamilton started at second base and went 0-for-3 in Monday's 2-0 win over the Mariners.

A random start at second base for Hamilton isn't typically significant, but Monday's assignment came in the first game the Red Sox played without Rafael Devers. Kristian Campbell, Boston's primary second baseman, served as the designated hitter, which had been Devers' role all season. Hamilton is considered the superior fielder, and the Devers trade allows manager Alex Cora to keep Campbell's bat in the lineup without sacrificing a key defensive position. One game is not determinative, so it would be wise to monitor how Cora handles infielder roles going forward. Eventually, Alex Bregman (quadriceps) will return from the injured list, and Marcelo Mayer could also enter the second-base mix.
