Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Exits with apparent finger injury
Rojas was removed from Wednesday's game against the Pirates in the eighth inning with what looked to be a finger injury, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
The 27-year-old appeared to dislocate a finger on his left hand while diving into second base. Rojas, who went 2-for-4 with a run, a walk and a stolen base, was replaced at second base by Andrew Young. Details about his condition should become available following the game.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Exits with apparent injury
McNeil exited Wednesday's game against the Reds with an apparent injury, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
The nature of McNeil's injury isn't yet clear, but he appeared to experience some discomfort in the top of the eighth inning and was able to walk off the field under his own power afterward. The 29-year-old went 1-for-4 with a run and a walk prior to his departure, and whether he'll be able to return for Friday's series opener against the Blue Jays remains to be seen.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Near full recovery
Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Marte (hamstring) underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which showed he is "near a full resolution."
To celebrate the promising news, Marte took three live at-bats later in the day. The next step for the injured outfielder is to ramp up his running activity. "He looks very powerful," Lovullo said. "I think he's very close to making some turns on the basepaths." Marte could potentially return by the end of July.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Goes deep Tuesday
Estrada went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Dodgers.
Estrada extended San Francisco's early lead in the fifth inning with a 406-foot blast to center field. The homer extended a strong July for the utilityman. Over 13 games this month, Estrada is slashing .361/.439/.583 with a pair of home runs, 11 RBI and a 5:7 BB:K.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Hits solo homer in win
India went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Mets.
India continued his campaign for NL Rookie of the Year on Tuesday night with a solo home run off Mets starter Robert Stock. Since May 28, the Reds' second baseman has a .462 OBP, good for best in all of baseball. India has clearly attended the Joey Votto School of Taking Walks, as he's worked 47 free passes this season.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Sitting Tuesday
Rodgers is not starting Tuesday's game against the Marniners.
Rodgers missed the final two games of the first half due to illness but returned to the lineup last Friday. He'll get a breather Tuesday as Ryan McMahon shifts to second base and Josh Fuentes mans the hot corner.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Settles into cleanup spot
Albies will start at shortstop and bat cleanup Tuesday against the Padres.
Albies has most commonly hit out of the No. 3 spot this season, but Ronald Acuna's season-ending injury has prompted manager Brian Snitker to shake up the batting order. The newly acquired Joc Pederson has settled into Acuna's old leadoff spot, but because Snitker doesn't want two lefties at the top of the lineup, the righty-hitting Dansby Swanson will hit between Pederson and Freddie Freeman. That leaves cleanup duties open for Albies, who has driven home a run in both of his starts out of the No. 4 spot so far.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Drives in two Monday
Estrada went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers.
Estrada was right in the middle of things during a four-run seventh inning in which he sent a two-run double down the third-base line to extend the Giants' lead to 6-2. The 25-year-old has come out of nowhere to become a key contributor since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento on June 29. Since then, he's slashed .353/.421/.500 with a homer, 10 RBI, five runs scored and a 4:6 BB:K over 13 games. He figures to play an everyday role moving forward after the team placed Brandon Crawford on the 10-day injured list Monday with a left oblique strain.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Swats fourth homer
McNeil went 2-for-6 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 15-11 extra-innings win over the Reds.
He launched a solo shot off Vladimir Gutierrez in the first inning, going back-to-back with Pete Alonso to give the Mets an early 3-0 lead in the wild affair. McNeil has hit safely in eight straight games and is slashing .280/.359/.329 over 92 plate appearances since returning from the IL in late June, but Monday's homer was his first in that time and only his fourth of the season. His 2019 power output is increasingly looking like a product of that year's rabbit ball.
