Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Dealing with hyperextended elbow
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Stott suffered a hyperextended elbow on a swing during Monday's 5-2 win over the Marlins, John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Thomson added that Stott could sit out Tuesday's contest, but the Phillies' second baseman doesn't appear to be dealing with a long-term injury concern. Stott went 1-for-4 with a double in Monday's contest and is slashing .236/.300/.329 with four home runs, 27 RBI, 31 runs scored and 11 stolen bases across 271 plate appearances on the season.

Luis Garcia 2B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Taking seat Monday
Garcia is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.
The left-handed-hitting Garcia had started in each of the Nationals' last eight games -- including three matchups versus southpaws -- but he'll move to the bench for the series opener while lefty Carson Palmquist takes the bump for Colorado. With fresh call-up Brady House making his MLB debut Monday and likely to serve as the Nationals' everyday third baseman moving forward, the right-handed-hitting Amed Rosario could end up spelling Garcia more frequently at second base when the Nationals face lefties. Rosario had previously occupied the short side of a platoon at the hot corner with Jose Tena, who was optioned to Triple-A Rochester to open up a roster spot for House.

Javier Sanoja SS | MIA
Marlins' Javier Sanoja: Returning to bench Monday
Sanoja is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
Sanoja will retreat to the bench after starting in four of the past five games and three different positions. The rookie doesn't have a direct path to a spot in the everyday lineup at the moment, but he should play regularly against left-handed pitching, and his ability to play all over the infield and outfield will allow him to make occasional starts versus righties, too.

Thairo Estrada 2B | COL
Rockies' Thairo Estrada: Piling up multi-hit performances
Estrada went 2-for-5 with a run scored Sunday against Atlanta.
Estrada singled in his final two plate appearances of the game, giving him his third multi-hit effort in his last four starts. His Rockies debut was delayed until May 30 due to a wrist injury, but he's hit primarily second and cleanup across his 14 starts since. Estrada is hitting a solid .267 in 62 plate appearances, also tallying seven RBI and five runs scored.

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Tommy Edman: Solo shot in Sunday's win
Edman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Giants.
Edman's 10th homer of the season came in the second inning, producing a 2-0 lead for the Dodgers. The 30-year-old was given two days off earlier in the week in addition to a team off day Thursday, so it's possible the Dodgers are trying to prevent an aggravation of an ankle injury that bothered him earlier in June. Edman still looks to be the starter at second base, though the team's complement of hitters is fully healthy and Hyeseong Kim has looked good in limited playing time. It's a competitive lineup, and Edman's .247/.283/.463 slash line may not be enough for him to be an everyday option. He's added 34 RBI, 30 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple and a stolen base over 53 games.

Jake Cronenworth 1B | SD
Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Swats fifth homer
Cronenworth went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
Cronenworth is enjoying a steady but unremarkable June -- he's hit safely in five straight games and in 10 of 14 contests for the month. However, his fourth-inning homer Sunday was his first extra-base hit since a May 28 double versus the Marlins, and he also picked up his first RBI since June 3 against the Giants. The infielder is now at a .241/.367/.400 slash line with five homers, 17 RBI, 21 runs scored and one stolen base across 46 games this season. Hitting consistently is half the battle, but Cronenworth's fantasy stock will remain fairly low if he can't get more involved in run production.

Tyler Fitzgerald CF | SF
Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald: Getting night off
Fitzgerald is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
Christian Koss will step in at second base while Fitzgerald gets the night off for what will be his first game out of the lineup since May 28. While starting in each of the Giants' last 15 games, Fitzgerald hit just .184 with zero home runs, three stolen bases, two runs and two RBI.

Brendan Donovan 2B | STL
Cardinals' Brendan Donovan: Back in action Sunday
Donovan (toe) will start at second base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Brewers, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Donovan hasn't seen the field since Tuesday due to sprained left big toe, but he's good to go for Sunday's series finale in Milwaukee. He'll wear a carbon-fiber orthotic in his shoe to help manage his return from the injury. Donovan was off to a slow start in June prior to the injury and has a .200/.317/.257 slash line through nine games this month.

Matt McLain SS | CIN
Reds' Matt McLain: Piles on in win
McLain went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 11-1 win over the Tigers.
McLain's three-run blast in the eighth inning provided further cushion for Cincinnati in the blowout win. Even though he's gone a respectable 7-for-26 at the plate over his last eight games, McLain is still batting just .186 on the season on the heels of a rough April and May. He continues to bat ninth in the order on a regular basis, though he'll elevate to the No. 2 spot for Sunday's series finale while the Tigers send left-handed opener Tyler Holton to the hill.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Runs on-base streak to 12 games
Marte went 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 8-7 win over San Diego.
Marte's infield single in the bottom of the ninth inning produced the first of five runs, giving Arizona a comeback victory. The hit also extended the second baseman's on-base streak to 12 contests, during which Marte has gone 15-for-43 (.349) with 11 walks, four home runs, 10 RBI and 11 runs scored. He's slashing .295/.418/.564 with 12 home runs and 23 RBI over 44 games on the season.
