Brujan is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

With Wander Franco recently making his return from the 10-day injured list, the Rays no longer have regular spots in the infield available for both Brujan and Taylor Walls. Brujan and Walls are thus likely to share time moving forward, with the latter getting the nod at the keystone in the series opener.

The White Sox optioned Sosa to Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday.

After getting his first big-league call-up last Thursday, Sosa started at second base in three of Chicago's subsequent five games and went 1-for-12 with a double, a walk and two runs. With Yoan Moncada (hamstring) making his return from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, the White Sox won't have an everyday role available in the infield for the 22-year-old, who will head back to Charlotte to play on a regular basis.

Guillorme will sit Tuesday against Houston.

Guillorme sits after making five straight starts at second base, a stretch in which he recorded just three hits. Jeff McNeil returns from a hamstring injury to start at the keystone.

McNeil (hamstring) will bat eighth and play second base Tuesday against the Astros.

McNeil hasn't played in over a week due to right hamstring tightness, but he managed to avoid a trip to the injured list. He'll carry an eight-game hitting streak from prior to the injury into Tuesday's contest.

Gorman will be on the bench Tuesday against lefty Braxton Garrett and the Marlins, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Gorman has made just a single start against a southpaw since he was called up in late May. The strict platoon usage seems to be working out, as Gorman is hitting .254/.313/.449 (good for a 117 wRC+) in 35 games, so he'll likely remain in a platoon role for now. Tommy Edman slides to second base in his absence while Edmundo Sosa starts at shortstop.

Arraez went 0-for-3 with two walks and a run in Monday's 11-1 win over the Guardians.

Even though he reached base in two of his five plate appearances, Arraez's on-base percentage actually fell to .427 for the season. That mark leads the American League by a wide margin and is just two points behind St. Louis' Paul Goldschmidt for the top OBP in the majors. Arraez will be back in the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader in Cleveland, with the 25-year-old starting at second base and batting leadoff.

Merrifield went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 10-4 loss to the Rangers.

It was a strong showing from the 33-year-old, who seems to have found his groove on the basepaths. Four of Merrifield's 11 steals on the season have come in the last 10 games, a stretch during which he's batting .286 (12-for-42) with three doubles, five runs and five RBI.

Andrus went 2-for-3 with a three-run double, a run scored, a walk and a stolen base in Monday's 9-5 loss to the Yankees.

Andrus singled and stole his fourth base of the season in the second inning. He then cleared the bases with a three-run double as part of Oakland's five-run third inning against Jordan Montgomery. The veteran infielder improved his season slash line to .226/.288/.343 with 21 extra-base hits through 250 plate appearances. Andrus has gone 15-for-76 (.197) with four multi-hit games this month.

Hernandez (hip) has resumed throwing but hasn't yet resumed swinging, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Hernandez encountered a setback in his recovery last week, but it's encouraging that he's throwing once again. However, he's unlikely to be cleared to begin a rehab assignment until he resumes swinging.

Arauz will start at third base and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Mariners, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Arauz will remain in the lineup for the third straight game and is getting his second turn in a row at the hot corner at the expense of Tyler Nevin, who is on the bench again after sitting in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the White Sox. Though the Orioles weren't able to complete the four-game series sweep, Arauz did his best to keep Baltimore competitive Sunday by going 2-for-4 with his first home run of the season and an additional RBI. Considering that Nevin is hitting just .135 in June, the Orioles could be prepared to give Arauz a look in a near-everyday role at third base until Ramon Urias (oblique) is cleared to return from the 10-day injured list.
