Rojas went 1-for-5 with a two-run double in Friday's loss against the Phillies.

Rojas doubled home Jake McCarthy and Alek Thomas in the seventh inning to bring the game within one run, but the Phillies still escaped with a win. Rojas now has at least one hit in each of his last three games and in six of his last eight, going 8-for-32 (.250) with four extra-base hits in that longer span.

Lux went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-2 loss to the Giants.

Fresh off a four-hit game Thursday, Lux stayed locked in with his second homer of the year Friday. He had last left the yard April 13, so it was an extended power drought that ended in this contest. The 24-year-old has done well with a contact-oriented approach, slashing .291/.372/.382 with two homers, 14 RBI, 33 runs scored, five stolen base, seven doubles and a triple in 52 contests this year. Lux's place in the lineup is fairly secure versus right-handed pitchers, and he's also found some playing time against lefties in 2022 without much deviation in his ratio stats.

Kim went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and a walk in Friday's 9-0 win over the Rockies.

This was Kim's first multi-hit effort since May 28, which was also the date of his last extra-base hit. The shortstop went 6-for-39 (.154) in his previous 10 games before a strong showing Friday. He's hitting a mediocre .219/.300/.348 with four home runs, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored, three stolen bases, a triple and eight doubles across 201 plate appearances.

Arauz was designated for assignment by the Red Sox on Friday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Arauz was called up by Boston on Wednesday, and he went 0-for-3 with a strikeout during Thursday's loss to the Angels. The 23-year-old will be cast off the 40-man roster after Rob Refsnyder's contract was selected by the Red Sox.

Mayfield was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.

Mayfield was recalled by the Angels on Wednesday, and he went 0-for-8 with a run and two strikeouts over two games during his stint with the big-league club. However, he'll head back to the Triple-A club after Anthony Rendon was activated Friday.

Frazier will be on the bench Friday against the Mariners.

Frazier will sit against southpaw Rich Hill, which means he's now been on the bench against three of the last five lefties the Mariners have faced. Abraham Toro will start at second base.

Ibanez was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.

Ibanez was optioned Sunday but returned two days later, only to head back to the minors three days after that. How long he'll be off the roster this time around is not yet clear. He hasn't done much at the plate at the big-league level this season, hitting .218/.273/.277 in 40 games.

Rodgers isn't starting Friday against the Padres.

Rodgers will get a rare day off after he hit .273 with a homer, a double, four runs, four RBI and four strikeouts over the last five games. Garrett Hampson is taking over at second base and batting ninth.

Lux went 4-for-4 with a double, a walk, two runs and an RBI in Thursday's 11-9 win over the White Sox.

Lux notched the first four-hit game of his career, and he added a walk to become the first Dodger to reach base five times in a game this season, per independent baseball writer Blake Harris. The second baseman could have had an even more impressive fantasy line, but he was thrown out trying to steal in the third inning. Nonetheless, it was a nice turnaround for Lux after he had gone 2-for-15 with four strikeouts over his previous five games.

Lopez is not in the starting lineup for Friday's contest against the Orioles.

Lopez will sit after he went 0-for-12 over the last four games. Whit Merrifield will get the start at second base while MJ Melendez takes over in right field and bats fifth.
