Red Sox's Enmanuel Valdez: Exits with injury
Valdez was removed from Saturday's game against the Angels with an apparent arm injury, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
Valdez tripped while attempting to steal second base, causing Miguel Sano to also fall and land on Valdez's left arm/wrist while attempting to run him down. The 25-year-old second baseman will presumably undergo imaging on his left arm, and the Red Sox should have more information on his status in the near future.

Justin Foscue 1B | TEX
Rangers' Justin Foscue: Moved to 60-day IL
The Rangers transferred Foscue (oblique) to the 60-day injured list Satuday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.
The Rangers selected Austin Pruitt's contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday to make up for the loss of Brock Burke (hand), so Foscue will move to the 60-day IL in order to clear space on the 40-man roster. The 25-year-old infielder has only been on the injured list since Monday, so he won't be eligible to return until June 7.

Starting Monday, Edman and Dylan Carlson (shoulder) will hit off a tee and against soft-toss throws from coaches in the first step of their rehab process. With the Cardinals last season, Edman slashed .248/.307/.399 with 13 home runs and 47 RBI over 528 plate appearances.
