Rengifo put the Angels ahead 2-1 in the eighth inning with a 417-foot blast off Drew Smith, his 12th homer of the year. The 26-year-old Rengifo has been on a tear of late, going 11-for-23 (.478) with four extra-base hits in his last seven contests. Overall, his slash line is up to .247/.333/.410with 50 runs scored, 42 RBI and five steals across 405 plate appearances as he continues to see steady playing time in a utility role.

Edouard Julien 2B | COL
Twins' Edouard Julien: Sits versus southpaw
Julien is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Julien will bow out of the starting nine along with fellow left-handed hitter Max Kepler while the Rangers bring southpaw Jordan Montgomery to the hill. Kyle Farmer will pick up a start in the Minnesota infield and will bat seventh while Julien retreats to the bench.

Enrique Hernandez SS | LAD
Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Retreats to bench Sunday
Hernandez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
The utility man will head to the bench after he started in each of the past four games while going 5-for-18 with one home run, three doubles, two walks, five RBI and two runs in addition to picking up reps in center field and at third base and shortstop. He should be a mainstay in the lineup versus left-handers and will see occasional starts versus right-handed pitching.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Orioles' Adam Frazier: On bench again Sunday
Frazier is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
The lefty-hitting Frazier will hit the bench for the second time in the series while the Rockies bring southpaw Ty Blach to the hill. Thanks to the Orioles running into a lefty-heavy schedule of late, Frazier has been limited to just two starts in the last eight games.

Whit Merrifield 2B | ATL
Blue Jays' Whit Merrifield: Heads to bench Sunday
Merrifield is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
Merrifield will join fellow veteran Kevin Kiermaier on the bench for the day game, opening up spots at second base and in the outfield for Cavan Biggio and Davis Schneider, respectively. The day off ends a stretch of 16 consecutive starts for Merrifield, who hit .264 with one home run and two stolen bases during that time.

Elvis Andrus 2B | ARI
White Sox's Elvis Andrus: Losing work to Sosa
Andrus is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Andrus will end up taking a seat for the final three games of the White Sox's four-game set in Oakland with youngster Lenyn Sosa having seemingly gained hold of a regular spot in the middle infield next to shortstop Tim Anderson. Though Andrus has turned in an .889 OPS through 20 games in August, he's a 35-year-old infielder on an expiring deal who likely won't be much of a priority for the 51-79 White Sox heading into the final month of the season.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Dodgers' Amed Rosario: Swipes bag Saturday
Rosario went 1-for-2 with a walk, a run, an RBI and a stolen base in a loss to Boston on Saturday.
Rosario got the start at second base and plated a run with an infield single in the first inning. The veteran then drew a walk in the fourth, stole second and came around to score the Dodgers' second run. However, Rosario was lifted for a left-handed hitter when righty Garrett Whitlock came on to pitch for the Red Sox in the seventh frame. Rosario is slashing .239/.282/.463 with three homers, 13 RBI, 10 runs and two steals over 23 contests since joining the Dodgers on July 26.

Davis Schneider 2B | TOR
Blue Jays' Davis Schneider: Big day in Saturday's win
Schneider went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double, a home run, three runs scored and three RBI in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Guardians.
Getting the start at second base and hitting fifth against rookie southpaw Logan Allen, Schneider started his afternoon off with a bang, launching a two-run shot over the wall in left field in the first inning. The 24-year-old infielder seems to be settling into a short-side platoon role for Toronto, which limits his fantasy utility, but he's remained productive when he gets into the lineup -- through his first 40 big-league plate appearances, he's batting .424 (14-for-33) with four homers and nine RBI.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Big performance against Tigers
Altuve went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and three runs scored Saturday against the Tigers.
Altuve has had an excellent August, as Saturday's performance marked his ninth multi-hit game in 23 appearances. That has amounted to a .370 batting average, and he's also chipped in two homers, 20 runs scored and six stolen bases in that span. Aside from thumb and oblique injuries that have limited Altuve's volume, he's had an excellent season and has maintained an OPS over .900 for the second straight campaign.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Lifts three-run homer
Marte went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 8-7 extra-innings loss to the Reds.
Marte's fifth-inning blast put the Diamondbacks ahead 4-0, but it wasn't a lead they could hold. The second baseman has gone 6-for-18 (.333) with two homers and five RBI over his last five games. For the season, he's at 21 long balls, 67 RBI, 80 runs scored, six stolen bases and a .274/.355/.479 slash line through 122 contests.
