Jordan Diaz 3B | ATH
Athletics' Jordan Diaz: Heads to bench Sunday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
Diaz had started each of the last five games and went 6-for-19 with a home run over that span, but he benefited from the Athletics facing off against four left-handed starters during that stretch. The 22-year-old will be on the bench Sunday versus right-hander Tayler Scott and looks as though he could be stuck in a short-side platoon role for the time being.

Christian Arroyo 2B | NYM
Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Contributes to win
Arroyo went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 10-3 win over Oakland.
Arroyo doubled in the fifth inning and came in on a Jarren Duran double, then doubled in a run himself in the sixth to finish Boston's scoring. Arroyo and Enrique Hernandez are sharing second base for now, but Arroyo has been the more productive of the two at the plate. He currently has a five-game hit streak, during which he's 8-for-17 with two doubles, two RBI and four runs scored.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Guardians' Amed Rosario: Raps out three hits
Rosario went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 10-6 win over the Royals.
The shortstop already had four multi-hit efforts in July, two shy of matching the number he had in June. Rosario is batting .351 (13-for-37) in eight games this month, lifting his season slash line to .268/.312/.363 through 82 contests. He's also got 12 RBI in July and 34 on the year to go with nine stolen bases, two home runs, 43 runs scored, 16 doubles and two triples.

Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Nabs 15th steal
Gimenez went 0-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 10-6 win over the Royals.
Gimenez has seemingly made a larger commitment to run with seven steals through eight games in July. His theft Saturday salvaged an otherwise unimpressive showing, though he's hit safely in six of his games this month. He's at a .245/.318/.384 slash line through 85 contests, and he now has 15 steals on 18 attempts this season.

Jose Caballero 2B | NYY
Mariners' Jose Caballero: Notches pair of steals
Caballero went 2-for-4 with one RBI, two stolen bases and one run scored in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Astros.
Caballero picked up his second multi-steal game of the week, and he was able to snap an 0-for-10 funk at the plate. The second baseman is up to 15-for-17 on the basepaths this year, but he's had some trouble hitting consistently with a .233 batting average. He's managed to offset that with a solid 12.2 percent walk rate over 180 plate appearances, helping him achieve a .361 on-base percentage.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Only dealing with inflammation
Drury's (shoulder) MRI returned clean Saturday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Drury had testing done Friday as there was concern that he was dealing with something more serious than just a bruise. However, the MRI revealed only inflammation. Drury is hoping to start hitting and fielding ground balls in the coming days, with the goal of returning shortly after the All-Star break.

Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Held out Saturday
Kim (toe) isn't in the Padres' lineup Saturday against the Mets, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Kim jammed his right big toe during Friday's loss to the Mets and will officially miss a start because of the injury. Matthew Batten will start at second base and bat eighth Saturday while Kim recovers.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Marlins' Luis Arraez: Day off Saturday
Arraez isn't in the Marlins' lineup Saturday against the Phillies, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
With left-hander Ranger Suarez taking the mound Saturday for Philadelphia, Arraez will receive a rare day off as the Marlins opt for a righties-only lineup. Garrett Hampson will start at the keystone in Arraez's place and bat ninth.
