Kolten Wong will start at second base and bat ninth with right-hander Mitch Keller on the mound for Pittsburgh. Caballero has slashed .300/.475/.467 in 40 plate appearances against lefties but just .258/.324/.387 in 37 plate appearances against righties.

Turang isn't starting Friday against the Giants.
Turang will take a seat Friday as the Giants roll out left-hander Alex Wood to begin the game. Owen Miller will move to second base in Turang's place, moving Brian Anderson in to third base and allowing Tyrone Taylor to start in right field while batting eighth.

Marlins' Luis Arraez: Returns to lineup
Arraez (leg) is starting at second base Friday against the Angels, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Left leg cramps kept Arraez out of the Marlins' lineup Thursday, but the 26-year-old infielder will return to his usual spot at second base after just one missed start. Arraez is currently enjoying the best statistical season of his career, slashing .371/.422/.465 through 187 plate appearances.

Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Out of lineup Friday
Kim (knee) isn't starting Friday against the Yankees.
Kim had to be helped off the field Thursday after he fouled a ball off his left knee. Although his X-rays came back negative, the Padres won't rush him back into action. He'll be replaced at second base by Jake Cronenworth, allowing Brandon Dixon to start at first base and bat seventh.

Orioles' Joey Ortiz: Optioned to Triple-A
Ortiz was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Ortiz will return to Norfolk after he went 5-for-19 with a double, three runs scored and six strikeouts over eight games following his call-up May 14. Ramon Urias (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Friday and will replace Ortiz on the major-league roster.

Rockies' Alan Trejo: Swipes third bag
Trejo went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a steal in Thursday's victory over Miami.
He got the Rockies on the board in the fourth inning, driving in Randal Grichuk with two outs. Trejo would later walk to lead off the seventh inning before swiping his third stolen base of the year. The 26-year-old infielder's gone just 2-for-19 over his last seven games while playing sparingly. He's now slashing .231/.260/.286 with 11 RBI and eight runs scored through 97 plate appearances this season.

Giants' Thairo Estrada: Swipes bag
Estrada went 0-for-5 with a stolen base in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Brewers.
Estrada got on base with a fielder's choice in the first inning and stole second, but that was the extent of his production. He entered Thursday on a nine-game hitting streak (12-for-39). The second baseman leads the Giants with 13 steals this season while slashing .301/.345/.466 with six home runs, 17 RBI and 30 runs scored in a near-everyday role through 47 contests.

Mets' Jeff McNeil: Scores three times in rout
McNeil went 3-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored in Thursday's 10-1 win over the Cubs.
McNeil has collected five multi-hit efforts over his last 10 games, though he had gone hitless in the last two contests. The second baseman also picked up his third steal of the season in the fifth inning before scoring on an error. He's batting a reliable .291, but he's added a modest .738 OPS with two home runs, 16 RBI and 22 runs scored through 51 games. He remains a reliable contact hitter with little pop.
