Twins' Jorge Polanco: Pulled from rehab game
Polanco was removed from Friday's rehab start at Triple-A St. Paul due to knee discomfort, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Polanco began his rehab assignment Friday, but it's discouraging that he was unable to make it through the game at St. Paul. He's slated to have an active recovery day and receive treatment Saturday, and a better idea of his status should come into focus based on how he feels afterward.

Luis Garcia 1B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: On base three times Friday
Garcia went 1-for-2 with two walks and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over the Marlins.
It's the first time all season the 22-year-old has drawn multiple free passes in a game, but he still carries a rough 8:64 BB:K through 308 plate appearances in the majors in 2022. Despite his issues with plate discipline, Garcia's contributed when he's made contact, batting .288 with 18 doubles, six home runs, two steals, 24 runs and 36 RBI, and he remains one of the key pieces of the Nationals' current rebuild.

Luis Rengifo 3B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Huge effort in win
Rengifo went 3-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 8-7 win over the Mariners.

While he hadn't homered since Aug. 29, he hit .291 in the 14 games in between long balls. The 25-year-old has emerged as a productive and versatile infield option for the Angels this year, slashing .275/.305/.443 with 13 homers, 44 RBI, 39 runs scored and six stolen bases through a career-high 109 games.

This was his first multi-hit game since Sept. 2 -- in the 11 games in between, he went a paltry 4-for-38 (.105). The shortstop still isn't at risk of losing much playing time, and he's had an altogether solid year with nine homers, 10 steals, 52 RBI, 52 runs scored and a .251/.324/.379 slash line through 134 contests.

He's now 4-for-8 with three extra-base hits in two games since returning from the 7-day concussion injured list. The 30-year-old is up to a .266/.322/.511 slash line with 27 long balls, 82 RBI, 79 runs scored and two stolen bases through 121 contests between the Padres and the Reds this year.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Returning to action Saturday
Manager Dave Roberts said Lux (back) is scheduled to start at second base Saturday against the Giants, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The 24-year-old hasn't seen the field since Sept. 1 due to the lingering back injury, but he's slated to return to Los Angeles' starting nine Saturday. The Dodgers have already secured the NL West title, so the team may manage Lux's workload down the stretch.
