Keston Hiura 2B | LAA
Angels' Keston Hiura: Breather Saturday
Hiura will sit Saturday versus the Athletics, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Hiura will head to the bench after he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Friday's series opener. Luis Guillorme will make his return to the lineup after a two-game absence with back tightness, starting at second base and batting ninth against Oakland.

Brandon Drury 2B | LAA
Angels' Brandon Drury: Sitting Saturday
Drury is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Athletics, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Drury will get a day off after he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Friday's 13-3 loss. Anthony Rendon will take over at third base while Willie Calhoun enters the lineup at designated hitter and bats fourth against Oakland.

Luis Guillorme 2B | ARI
Angels' Luis Guillorme: Back in lineup Saturday
Guillorme (back) is in the lineup at second base, batting ninth Saturday versus the Athletics, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Guillorme will return to the lineup after missing the team's last two contests with back tightness. The 29-year-old has gone just 1-for-16 with two walks, two strikeouts and a stolen base during the month of July.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Tallies three hits to extend streak
Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Hoerner came into the All-Star break riding an 11-game hitting streak and he kept rolling in his team's return to action Friday. Over the past 12 games, the infielder is batting .380 with eight RBI and eight runs scored. After a relatively slow start to the season, Hoerner seems to be finding his groove, and he should be able to score plenty of runs as the Cubs' primary leadoff hitter if he keeps reaching base consistently.

Otto Lopez 2B | MIA
Marlins' Otto Lopez: Swipes bag in return
Lopez went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's 6-4 win over the Mets.
The 25-year-old infielder had been sidelined since June 30 with lower-back inflammation, but Lopez looked fully recovered in his return to the lineup. He got the start at second base Friday and batted fifth, and Lopez will likely remain at the keystone the rest of the year as the Marlins let him settle in next to shortstop Xavier Edwards as their potential double-play combo of the present and future.

Jeff McNeil 2B | NYM
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Goes yard twice in loss
McNeil went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Marlins.
The 32-year-old very nearly kept the Mets in the game single-handedly, launching a solo shot off Edward Cabrera in the fifth inning to get his team on the board and then slugging a two-run blast to right field off Andrew Nardi in the sixth. McNeil appears to have turned things around at the plate, and over his last 20 games he's slashing .271/.302/.525 with four of his seven homers on the season and 12 of his 27 RBI.

Brandon Lowe 2B | TB
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Resting versus lefty
Lowe isn't in the Rays' lineup for Saturday's game versus the Yankees, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Left-hander Nestor Cortes will draw the start on the mound for New York, so the lefty-hitting Lowe will take a seat on the bench to begin Saturday's contest. In his place, Curtis Mead will serve as the designated hitter and bat third.
-
Nolan Gorman 2B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Idle for Game 1
Gorman isn't in the Cardinals' lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader versus Atlanta.
Gorman will take a seat to begin Saturday's festivities and will likely be back in the lineup for the nightcap. His absence in the early game will move Brendan Donovan to second base while Alec Burleson starts in left field, moving Willson Contreras into the DH spot with Pedro Pages at catcher.

Curtis Mead 2B | TB
Rays' Curtis Mead: Recalled from Triple-A
The Rays recalled Mead from Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Mead will rejoin the Rays as infield depth to replace Yandy Diaz (personal), who landed on the restricted list Saturday. Mead was optioned to Triple-A in early May after slashing .218/.269/.276 through 93 plate appearances, and he's since posted an .847 OPS in the minor leagues. He's unlikely to see regular playing time while with the Rays and will likely return to Durham once Diaz rejoins the team.
