Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Garners RBI in return
Suarez (undisclosed) went 0-for-2 with a hit-by-pitch and an RBI from a bases-loaded walk in a win over the Athletics on Thursday.
The slugger was back at the hot corner after exiting Wednesday's game early due to fouling a ball off his foot. Suarez was able to play a full nine innings but remains in a bit of a funk at the plate, now having gone hitless in four of his last five games.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Aims for weekend return
Manager Brandon Hyde said Thursday that Urias (hamstring) is aiming to return from the injured list this weekend, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Urias will likely get his wish if he makes it through another rehab game or two without issue. He drew three walks and scored a pair of runs in his rehab debut Wednesday with High-A Aberdeen. The 28-year-old infielder has been sidelined since May 8 because of a left hamstring strain.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: In lineup Thursday
Suarez (undisclosed) will start at third base Thursday against the Athletics.
Suarez left Thursday's contest after getting hit by a foul ball, but apparently his injuries were minor enough that he won't have to miss any games. The 31-year-old infielder is slashing .227/.308/.364 with a home run and seven RBI over the past week.

Taylor Walls 3B | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Adds two more steals
Walls went 0-for-3 with a run scored and two steals in Thursday's 6-3 victory over the Blue Jays.
Walls logged two of the Rays' seven stolen bases Thursday, improving to 11-for-11 in steal attempts this season. While he's been effective on the base paths, Walls has struggled at the plate recently -- he's gone just 1-for-17 with eight strikeouts in his last seven games. Still, the 26-year-old infielder should continue to see steady playing time with Tampa Bay thanks to his defensive acumen and positional versatility. Through 137 plate appearances, Walls is slashing .246/.350/.500 with seven home runs, 19 RBI and 26 runs scored.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Absent from lineup
LeMahieu is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game against the Orioles, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.
LeMahieu is just 3-for-26 at the plate over his last seven contests, so he'll get a day off to regroup. The Yanks are going with Oswaldo Cabrera at the hot corner.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Unlikely to need rehab games
Manager Phil Nevin said Thursday that Rendon (groin) is not expected to need a rehab assignment before returning, MLB.com reports.
Rendon has not yet taken batting practice on the field yet, but he went through agility drills Wednesday and has also done some swinging indoors. He's eligible for activation Friday and while he's not expected back on that day, it sounds like it shouldn't be long after that.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Posts another multi-hit game
Garcia went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and a stolen base Wednesday in a loss to the Tigers.
Garcia reached base three times in the contest, adding a hit-by-pitch to his pair of base knocks. The rookie finished with his second straight multi-hit contest and his sixth such performance through 19 games this season. Garcia has provided steady production since being called up in early May, slashing .279/.346/.368 with six doubles, nine RBI, six runs and four stolen bases over 78 plate appearances.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Exits game Wednesday
Suarez left Wednesday's contest against Oakland after getting hit by a foul ball, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
The Mariners failed to provide details on what exactly is bothering Suarez and how severe his injury is, but it was apparently enough for him to be pulled Wednesday. He should be considered day-to-day until more information is released.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Goes through agility drills
Rendon (groin) went through agility drills on the field pregame Wednesday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon has also being doing some baseball activities indoors as he works his way back from a left groin strain. The veteran third baseman is eligible for activation from the injured list but seems likely to require a rehab assignment before returning. It's unclear when that might happen, although it does seem he's trending in the right direction.

Nick Maton DH | CHW
Tigers' Nick Maton: Retreats to bench Wednesday
Maton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.
Maton will exit the lineup to clear a spot at designated hitter for Andy Ibanez, who re-enters the starting nine after a two-game break. Ibanez appeared to supplant Maton as a regular in the Detroit starting nine last week, but Ibanez may be back on the outs for a regular role after going 1-for-31 over his past nine games. Maton, meanwhile, started in each of Detroit's last three contests and went 3-for-8 with a solo home run and three walks.
