Rays' Isaac Paredes: Starting at third
Paredes is starting at third base and batting sixth Friday against the Brewers.
Paredes saw his six-game hitting streak come to an end during Thursday's loss to the Mets, but with a .978 OPS in the month of May, he's hardly at risk of losing playing time anytime soon.

Rays' Isaac Paredes: Sitting out Friday
Paredes is absent from the Rays' lineup for Friday's game versus the Brewers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Taylor Walls will get the call at third base. Paredes has a .978 OPS this month and had a two-homer game earlier this week but has been on the bench two of the last five contests.

Henderson is not in the Orioles' lineup for Friday's game in Toronto, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.
Henderson will take a seat against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi. The rookie infielder has gone just 4-for-30 at the plate versus southpaws this season. Joey Ortiz will get the start at third base.

Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Sliced thumb delays rehab
Donaldson (hamstring) said Thursday he recently sliced his thumb, which has delayed him from beginning a rehab assignment, Max Goodman of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Donaldson said Thursday that he was "putting something together" with his daughter when he suffered the cut. It's not a huge setback -- his hamstring is almost fully healed -- but he might not get into minor-league rehab games until sometime next week. The veteran third baseman has been on the shelf since early April.

Rays' Taylor Walls: Picks up two steals in loss
Walls went 1-for-5 with a run and two stolen bases Wednesday in an extra-inning loss to the Mets.
Walls was punched out four times in the contest, but he still helped his fantasy managers with a pair of thefts. One of those came after he began the 10th inning as the automatic runner, leading to a run that temporarily gave Tampa Bay the lead. Walls has nine steals through 33 games this season, which already puts him one short of his total over 142 contests last year.
