Farmer (oblique) isn't starting Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.

Farmer tweaked his oblique ahead of Friday's series opener, and manager David Bell acknowledged that the injury could keep the 31-year-old sidelined for the remainder of the year. Jose Barrero will take his place at shortstop and bat sixth Saturday.

Riley will sit Saturday against the Mets.

Riley will rest along with several of his teammates as Atlanta looks to keep players well rested for the postseason. Ehire Adrianza starts at the hot corner.

However, he'll be available off the bench in Friday's matchup, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports. Paul DeJong will receive another start at shortstop.
