  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Reaches RBI milestone

Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Athletics.

Ramirez plated the final run of the Guardians' four-run second inning to record the 900th RBI of his career. The 32-year-old owns a .324/.385/.531 slash line with 13 home runs, 36 RBI, 20 steals and 43 runs -- all of which lead the team -- over 73 games.

  • Zach McKinstry 3B | DET

Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Losing work at hot corner

McKinstry is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

For the second time in three games, McKinstry will hit the bench while the Tigers face a right-handed starting pitcher. With the team getting more comfortable using Colt Keith at third base, McKinstry's primary path to playing time appears to be closing. The 30-year-old is still capable of filling in at two other infield spots as well as both corner outfield spots, but his at-bats could become sporadic now that all of Detroit's key hitters are available, sans Matt Vierling (shoulder).

  • Luis Rengifo 3B | LAA

Angels' Luis Rengifo: Homers in Saturday's win

Rengifo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 9-1 win over the Astros.

Rengifo opened the scoring with a second-inning blast, and that would ultimately be all the Angels needed in the win. The light-hitting infielder has tapped into a little more power lately -- three of his four homers this season have come in his last eight games. He's still batting just .220 with a .557 OPS, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored and two stolen bases over 69 contests. Despite his struggles at the plate, Rengifo has maintained a fairly regular spot in the lineup as a utility player.

  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN

Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Reaches 25-homer mark

Suarez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a second RBI in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

Suarez has been particularly strong at the plate lately, going deep nine times in his last 13 games. He's batting .353 (18-for-51) with 21 RBI in that span. Suarez is one of four players in the majors to reach the 25-homer mark through Saturday's action, and he's added an .892 OPS with 67 RBI, 48 runs scored, 14 doubles and a stolen base over 76 contests. He's on pace to reach the 40-homer mark for the second time, and matching his career high of 49 long balls from 2019 is within the reasonable range of possibilities.

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Hot streak continues with two hits

Bohm went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored and a walk during Saturday's 11-4 defeat to the Mets.

Bohm extended his hitting streak to seven games, and he's also recorded at least one knock in 10 of his last 11 outings. The corner infielder was batting a weak .220 as of May 3, but he's turned his season around in a big way over the past month and a half. Over his last 43 contests (180 plate appearances), Bohm is slashing .347/.389/.515 with seven home runs, seven doubles, 26 RBI and 21 runs scored.

  • Rays' Junior Caminero: Belts 18th homer

Caminero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Tigers.

The third baseman slugged his 18th long ball of the season in the fourth inning off Sawyer Gipson-Long, staking the Rays to a 7-1 lead. Caminero has been on a month-long heater, batting .314 (33-for-105) since May 23 with 10 doubles, 10 homers, 26 runs and 29 RBI in 27 games. His success has been boosted by a huge improvement in his plate discipline -- the 21-year-old has an 11:16 BB:K during that span, after he compiled an 8:38 BB:K through his first 45 contests this season.

  • Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Suffers jammed finger

X-rays on Westburg's left hand came back negative after he was removed from Saturday's game against the Yankees, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Westburg jammed his left index finger while stealing second base in the first inning, leading to his eventual removal in the third. Although he doesn't have any structural damage, the 26-year-old is dealing with a bit of swelling, so the O's may hold him out for a day or two until his finger calms down.

  • Alex Bregman 3B | CHC

Red Sox's Alex Bregman: Doing well in running program

Bregman (quadriceps) is continues to make progress in running program but has yet to resume baseball activities as of Saturday, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Bregman received a positive report from his latest round of testing Wednesday, but he still looks to be at least a few more days away from resuming full baseball activities. He's been on the injured list since May 24 due to a strained right quad, and given that he's missed nearly a month, he may require a rehab assignment after he had previously expressed hope that he would be able to return from the 10-day injured list without heading to the farm beforehand.

  • Padres' Manny Machado: Slugs 12th homer

Machado went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored Friday in a loss to Kansas City.

Machado had two of San Diego's three extra-base hits in the loss, knocking a ground-rule double in the seventh inning and a solo homer in the ninth. The veteran third baseman continues to pick up the pace in the power department -- after going deep just three times in his first 48 games, Machado has homered nine times in his subsequent 27 contests. He's also been able to maintain a high batting average, as he's currently on pace for a career-best mark of .311 through 318 plate appearances.

  • Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Lifted in third inning

Westburg exited Saturday's game against the Yankees in the third inning due to left hand discomfort, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Westburg started Saturday's game at DH, drew a walk and stole second base in the first inning but was replaced by Coby Mayo for his next at-bat. For now, Westburg can be considered day-to-day, though he'll likely continue to be evaluated throughout the next 24 hours.
