Rendon went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, one RBI and a walk during Thursday's 13-4 win over the Braves.

Rendon tied pitcher Stephen Strasburg for the most hits in this assault on Atlanta pitching. He smacked a RBI double to center in the third inning and later scored after a hit during an eighth-inning rally. He now has multiple hits in four of his last five games to bring his OPS to 1.014 for the season.

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI during Thursday's 6-3 win over the Tigers.

Ramirez put his club ahead with a two-run home run in the sixth inning and tacked on an insurance run with an RBI groundout in the eighth. He has been extremely productive of late and seems to be rediscovering his form from the start of 2018. Ramirez is now hitting .366 over his last 10 games, adding three home runs, 12 RBI, 10 runs scored, and two stolen bases.

Devers went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Thursday against the Blue Jays.

Devers made the most of his lone hit, as he took Thomas Pannone deep in the fifth inning for his 19th home run of the season. He continues to hit the ball very well, collecting at least one hit in six of seven contests since the All-Star break. He's also hit for plenty of power, recording three home runs and three doubles in that span. Devers is in the midst of a breakout campaign, slashing .325/.379/.563 across 410 plate appearances.

LeMahieu isn't starting Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Rays.

LeMahieu will take a seat for the nightcap after going 1-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts in Game 1. Gleyber Torres draws the start at the keystone and will hit sixth with LeMahieu out of the mix.

Chapman (ankle) expects to return to the lineup Friday against the Twins, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Chapman is sitting Thursday after leaving Wednesday's game with a sore left ankle. His absence Thursday is considered precautionary, however, so he shouldn't miss much more time, if any.

Manager David Bell said Senzel (hamstring) won't require a trip to the injured list, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Senzel exited Wednesday's loss to the Cubs with what is being described as a mild hamstring strain. While Bell didn't seem too worried about the injury -- an MRI revealed nothing serious, per Mark Sheldon of MLB.com -- the skipper admitted that Senzel may miss a game or two as a result. Jesse Winker is starting in center field Thursday, with Phillip Ervin in left.

Riley is not starting Thursday against the Nationals.

Riley is slashing just .159/.224/.295 through 12 games this month, so he'll retreat to the bench for Thursday's series opener as Ender Inciarte (back) -- who was reinstated from the injured list Thursday -- picks up a start in the outfield in his stead. Even with Inciarte back in the fold, the 22-year-old Riley still figures to see the majority of playing time in left field, with Inciarte filling in as the team's' fourth outfielder, per Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Chapman (ankle) is not starting Thursday against the Twins, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Chapman left Wednesday's game against the Mariners with a sore left ankle and will sit for at least one game. Chad Pinder gets the start at third base.

Candelario is not in the lineup Thursday against Cleveland.

Candelario has an excellent .306/.377/.613 line since returning from Triple-A Toledo in late June. He'll sit Thursday with Gordon Beckham getting the nod at the hot corner.

Senzel (hamstring) is not starting Thursday against the Cardinals.

Senzel exited Wednesday's game against the Cubs with a hamstring injury, and the issue will force him to miss at least one game. Jesse Winker is covering center field in place of the 24-year-old Senzel, who should be considered day-to-day.
