Chapman went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a two-run home run in a win over the Indians on Monday.

Chapman's 388-foot shot to left with a man aboard in the eighth gave the Athletics some much-needed breathing room after the Indians had closed to within a run. The slugging shortstop has now hit safely in four of the last five games, although the homer was his first since May 10. Chapman currently sports a solid .264/.357/.522 line across 207 plate appearances, and he's encouragingly carrying career-best figures in walk rate (11.6 percent) and strikeout rate (15.9 percent).

Moncada, who was hit by a pitch on his left knee Sunday, started Monday and went 0-for-4 in a 3-0 loss to the Astros.

Moncada walked gingerly to first base after getting plunked Sunday but apparently felt well enough the day after to remain in the lineup.

Riley went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Monday's 4-1 victory over the Giants.

The rookie slugger has been stellar in his first week at the MLB level; he's knocked three homers with a .409 average in 22 at-bats. It looks like Riley is going to force the Braves to keep him in the lineup, even when Ender Inciarte (back) returns. He should be owned in all standard leagues at this point.

Rendon went 2-for-2 with two walks, a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Mets.

The impressive night extended Rendon's hitting streak to seven games, and he's also gone yard three times in the last four contests. The hot streak has pushed his slash line on the season to a dazzling .342/.433/.708 with nine homers, 27 RBI and 33 runs through 33 games.

Devers went 3-for-5 with a home run, two singles, three RBI, a stolen base and two runs in a 12-2 victory against the Blue Jays on Monday.

It was a terrific game for Devers, who came into the afternoon 1-for-16 in the last four games. He broke out of that slump, hitting his fourth homer and raising his average back up to .314. He's slashing .314/.383/.451 with 16 extra-base hits, 25 RBI, 31 runs and six steals on nine attempts in 197 plate appearances this season.

Longoria is not in the lineup Monday against the Braves, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Longoria will head to the bench for Monday's series opener as the Giants look to ease him back into action following a brief absence last week due to an illness. In his place, Pablo Sandoval is starting at the hot corner and hitting fifth in this one.

Urshela (knee) is in the lineup Monday against the Orioles.

Urshela left Sunday's game against the Rays after fouling a ball off his knee, but the removal was considered precautionary, so it's not a big surprise to see him back in the lineup just one day later. Urshela will bat seventh and play third base in Monday's contest.

Davis went 2-for-3 in Sunday's loss to the Marlins.

The line doesn't seem like much, but Davis was all that was standing between the Mets and being no-hit, as he had the team's only two knocks of the afternoon against Sandy Alcantara. The 26-year-old is slashing a solid .287/.357/.455 through 37 games and remains the primary option for manager Mickey Callaway at third base, starting six of the last nine contests, but that's likely to change once Jed Lowrie (knee) finally gets healthy.

Kieboom has gone 10-for-32 (.313) with three doubles, three home runs, nine RBI and a 6:5 BB:K in nine games since being optioned back to Triple-A Fresno.

The 21-year-old's first stint in the majors didn't go as planned, but Kieboom has been doing his best to earn another shot since returning to the PCL. Trea Turner is now back in the lineup at shortstop for the Nats, but Brian Dozier's continued struggles at the plate could create an opportunity for Kieboom at second base later in the season if he keeps posting strong numbers.

Rendon went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk Sunday in the Nationals' 6-5 loss to the Cubs.

Rendon's eighth long ball of the season cut the Nationals' deficit to two runs, but the Chicago bullpen was able to limit the damage the rest of the night to lead the Cubs to a series victory. While the loss drops the Nationals eight games below .500, the team's slumping ways are through no fault of Rendon, who has posted a .928 in his 12 games since returning from the injured list May 7.
