Rivera will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Angels.

Rivera will pick up his fifth straight start at third base and should operate as the Orioles' main option at the position until one or both of Jordan Westburg (hamstring) and Ramon Urias (hamstring) return from the injured list. Coby Mayo had represented Rivera's main competition for reps at the hot corner before Mayo was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.

Vargas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins due to a right calf injury, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Though Vargas will hit the bench for a second day in a row, his injury is considered minor, and he'll be available to play Sunday if needed. The 25-year-old has mostly held down an everyday role this season, but the White Sox plan to rotate Vargas, Andrew Vaughn and the newly promoted Tim Elko at first base and designated hitter against right-handed pitching. Vargas should still play regularly against lefties while handling the short side of a platoon at third base with Josh Rojas.

Caminero is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Unless he's deployed off the bench, Caminero will have to put his five-game hitting streak on hold. Jose Caballero will cover third base in Caminero's stead.

Peraza went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Athletics.

Peraza started at third base and belted a two-run shot to left field in the sixth inning to give the Yankees a short-lived lead. He moved over to second base in the sixth frame and was then pinch hit for in the eighth despite the earlier long ball. Peraza hasn't been able to do much in his limited playing time this season, slashing .205/.271/.386 with two homers and seven RBI over 48 plate appearances. Saturday marked his lone start in the Yankees' past four games.

Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a stolen base in Saturday's 7-1 loss to Philadelphia.

Ramirez has reached base safely in nine consecutive games, going 13-for-34 with four walks, four steals, four doubles, a home run, four RBI and five runs scored. He leads the Guardians with nine steals on the season.

High-A Cedar Rapids placed Amick on its 7-day injured list May 2 due to a left oblique strain.

The 22-year-old infielder slashed .338/.465/.442 with 14 runs and 12 RBI over 99 plate appearances before being shelved with the injury.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Dodgers.

Suarez gave starter Corbin Burnes a little more breathing room with his sixth-inning home run. It was the second homer in as many games for Suarez, who ranks tied for second in MLB with 12 homers. He also extended an on-base streak to six contests (7-for-20, four walks), which has lifted Suarez's batting average to .211, its highest point since April 4.

Wagaman went 1-for-4 with a two-run triple in Saturday's 3-1 win over the White Sox.

Wagaman, who went 0-for-8 in his two games prior to Saturday, got off to a slow start after he struck out swinging in each of his first two plate appearances. However, he came up clutch in the eighth inning, when his triple off Brandon Eisert brought Dane Myers and Nick Fortes home. Wagaman has struggled at the plate of late with a .115/.148/.231 slash line over his last seven games.

Lugo went 1-for-4 with an RBI triple in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Orioles.

Lugo made his first career start Saturday, patrolling left field and batting ninth after making his major-league debut as a pinch runner Friday. The 24-year-old needed just two at-bats to deliver his first big-league hit, an RBI triple that stretched the Angels' lead to 4-0 in the fourth inning. It's unclear how much playing time Lugo will be able to carve out while the Angels contend with the absences of Mike Trout (knee) and Gustavo Campero (ankle). Given abysmal offensive performance from the team's outfielders, the opportunity for Lugo to steal a job is there.

Clement went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

Clement's playing time was on the decline about a week ago, but he should be able to see steady at-bats while Andres Gimenez (quadriceps) is on the 10-day injured list. Over his last five contests, Clement has helped his own case to stay in the lineup by going 7-for-20 (.350). The versatile infielder is batting .248 with a .587 OPS, no home runs, six RBI, nine runs scored, two steals and six doubles over 109 plate appearances. Clement has started all three games at second base since Gimenez was injured, allowing Addison Barger to take over at third, at least against right-handed pitchers.
