Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Reds' Jeimer Candelario: Scratched Saturday
Candelario was scratched from the Reds' lineup Saturday due to neck stiffness.
The Reds haven't provided any information on the severity of Candelario's injury, but it is apparently bothering him enough to hold him out of Saturday's contest. Santiago Espinal will enter the lineup to cover third base while batting ninth.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Shifting to 60-day IL
The Yankees transferred LeMahieu (foot) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Saturday.
LeMahieu's move to the 60-day IL has no impact on his expected return date of May 28. It will, however, free up a 40-man roster spot for Kevin Smith, who was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to replace infielder Jon Berti (calf) on the 26-man active roster. LeMahieu will operate as New York's primary third baseman once he returns from the IL, though he'll receive more days off initially as he eases his way back from a non-displaced fracture of his right foot.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Yankees' Jon Berti: Hits injured list with calf strain
The Yankees placed Berti on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left calf strain.
Berti was in visible pain after falling to the ground as he began to run toward first base during Friday's game, and it will officially cost him at least 10 days as he heads to the injured list. The trainers appeared to be working near Berti's Achilles' tendon while he was on the ground, though imaging showed he suffered only a calf strain as a result of the incident. Kevin Smith will come up from Triple-A to take Berti's roster spot.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa CF | BOS
Blue Jays' Isiah Kiner-Falefa: Swipes third bag
Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Tigers.
Getting the start at second base and batting seventh, Kiner-Falefa was the only Blue Jay to record multiple hits on an afternoon when offense was at a premium. The 29-year-old utility player has seven hits in the last four games, but that comes on the heels of an 0-for-20 swoon. On the season, Kiner-Falefa is slashing .264/.305/.382 with three homers, three steals, 13 RBI and 14 runs in 50 contests.

Pablo Reyes RF | SD
Mets' Pablo Reyes: Dealt to Mets
The Red Sox traded Reyes to the Mets on Saturday in exchange for cash, Katie Morrison-O'Day of The Springfield Republican reports.
Reyes was sent outright to Triple-A Worcester earlier in May, and he will now head to New York to give the Mets additional organizational depth in the infield. The 30-year-old has played in five games at Triple-A, going 6-for-13 with a home run, four RBI and four runs scored. He will likely report to Triple-A Syracuse.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Sitting as expected
Riley (side) isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.
Manager Brian Snitker said Friday that Riley is likely to sit out until Atlanta begins its series against the Nationals on Monday, so the third baseman's absence Saturday isn't too surprising. Zack Short will continue starting at third base while Riley misses his 12th consecutive game.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Logs steal in win
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 8-1 win over the Rays.
Garcia's hitting streak is up to 11 games, during which he's gone 17-for-48 (.354) with five steals, six extra-base hits and eight RBI. The third baseman has 13 thefts on the year, and he's yet to be caught stealing. He's added a .266/.313/.425 slash line with five home runs, 32 RBI, 31 runs scored, 12 doubles and three triples over 50 contests as the Royals' near-everyday leadoff hitter.

Bryan Ramos 3B | BAL
White Sox's Bryan Ramos: Back in starting lineup Saturday
Ramos is starting at third base and batting sixth against the Orioles on Saturday.
Ramos will get right back into the action after being reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday. The 22-year-old infielder was battling a left quadriceps strain, and he played in a couple rehab games with Triple-A Charlotte, going 2-for-4 with one run and two walks. Before landing on the IL, Ramos went 9-for-32 from the plate with four runs and two RBI.

Bryan Ramos 3B | BAL
White Sox's Bryan Ramos: Officially activated
The White Sox reinstated Ramos (quadriceps) from the injured list Saturday.
Ramos landed on the injured list May 17 due to a left quadriceps strain, and he will now return to the White Sox's lineup after a minimum-length stay. The 22-year-old infielder played two rehab games at Triple-A Charlotte, going 2-for-4 with two walks and a run scored, and he figures to reprise his role as Chicago's everyday third baseman now that he's healthy. Zach DeLoach was optioned to Charlotte in a corresponding move.
