Ben Williamson 2B | TB
Rays' Ben Williamson: On bench for second straight
Williamson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
After making five consecutive starts in the middle infield, Williamson now finds himself on the bench for the second straight game, with both absences coming while the Rays have faced right-handed pitchers. Williamson looks like he'll continue to share second base with Richie Palacios until Gavin Lux (shoulder/ankle) is cleared to return from the injured list.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Back in lineup Wednesday
Caminero (jaw) will start at third base and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Guardians.
Caminero was forced to exit Tuesday's contest after a foul tip bounced off the dirt and struck him in the jaw. He escaped with merely a contusion and will not have to miss any starts. Caminero has started every game for the Rays this season.

Bo Bichette SS | NYM
Mets' Bo Bichette: Bops leadoff homer Tuesday
Bichette went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a sacrifice fly, two RBI and one walk in Tuesday's 8-0 win over the Nationals.
Bichette got the scoring started quickly for the Mets, taking Zack Littell deep on his first pitch of the game for a leadoff homer to the opposite field. It was just Bichette's second long ball of the season. He later walked in the third inning and drove home another run with a sac fly in the fourth. Like many of his teammates, Bichette has really struggled at the plate through the first month of the season, but he's now recorded at least one hit in six of his last seven games and 10 of the last dozen. He's slashing .237/.276/.331 with two homers, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored, one stolen base and a 7:27 BB:K across 127 trips to the plate.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Rare extra-base hit in easy win
Bohm went 2-for-4 with an RBI double during the Phillies' 7-0 win over the Giants on Tuesday.
Bohm badly needed some kind of spark amid what's been a miserable start to his season. Tuesday's effort marked the first time since April 6 that the third baseman logged both an extra-base hit and an RBI in the same game. Bohm, who's hitting .157 with four extra-base hits, 12 RBI and six runs scored across 102 at-bats, opened the year as Philadelphia's cleanup hitter but has hit sixth or lower in the batting order in each of his last 15 starts.

Kazuma Okamoto 3B | TOR
Blue Jays' Kazuma Okamoto: Drives in two runs Tuesday
Okamoto went 1-for-4 with a two-run single during the Blue Jays' 3-0 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.
Okamoto put the Blue Jays on the board in the third inning, driving home two runs after smacking a single off Payton Tolle. After a slow start to his MLB career, Okamoto has looked more comfortable at the plate over his last 10 outings, going 10-for-34 (.294) with three home runs, nine RBI, seven runs scored and a 5:10 BB:K over that span.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Day-to-day with jaw contusion
Caminero has been diagnosed with a right jaw contusion and is considered day-to-day, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Caminero fouled a pitch off in his first at-bat Tuesday, and it bounced off the dirt and came up to hit him in the jaw. After grounding out, Caminero left the game with the training staff. The Rays have a day game Wednesday to wrap up their series with the Guardians followed by an off day Thursday.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Cubs' Alex Bregman: Getting first night off Tuesday
Bregman is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.
Bregman started the first 29 games of the season for the Cubs, so this will be his first night out of the starting lineup. Matt Shaw is making the start at third base and batting ninth for Chicago. Bregman is 0-for-10 at the plate over the last three contests after hitting safely in 14 of the previous 16 games.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Exits game in first inning
Caminero was removed from Tuesday's game against the Guardians in the first inning after fouling a ball off the right side of his face, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Caminero fouled off a pitch that hit the ground and then bounced up and hit him in the right side of the face. He stayed in to finish his at-bat and grounded out before then walking down the tunnel with the training staff. Ben Williamson has entered the game at second base, and Richie Palacios has shifted over to third base for Tampa Bay.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Back in lineup Tuesday
Garcia (elbow) is starting at third and batting leadoff Tuesday versus the Athletics.
Garcia did not start the last three games Friday through Sunday due to right elbow cramps. However, he was able to come off of the bench Sunday for two plate appearances and was able come around for a run after drawing a walk.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Out of Tuesday's lineup
Machado (leg) isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs.
Machado made an early exit from Monday's game due to a leg injury, and although manager Craig Stammen said after the game that the 33-year-old third baseman is fine, the Padres will keep him on the bench Tuesday as a precaution. Jake Cronenworth will make his first career start at the hot corner as a result, moving Fernando Tatis to second base and giving Bryce Johnson a start in right field.
