Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Late scratch Monday
Arenado has been removed from Monday's starting lineup against the Cubs for an undisclosed reason, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
It's unclear whether Arenado is dealing with an injury at this time. He'll be considered day-to-day until more details become available.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Nationals' Jeimer Candelario: Returns to lineup
Candelario is back in the Nationals' lineup for Monday's game in San Francisco, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
Candelario was unavailable for a few days after feeling dehydrated, but he's back in there for the series opener against the Giants. The 29-year-old will be at third base and batting fifth versus Anthony DeSclafani.

Oswald Peraza 3B | LAA
Yankees' Oswald Peraza: Remains out Monday
Peraza (ankle) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Athletics, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.
Peraza hasn't started in a game in a week and hasn't made an appearance since last Wednesday while he contends with a right ankle sprain. The rookie appears to be reasonably healthy at this point, however, as manager Aaron Boone said prior to Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Rays that Peraza was available off the bench, according to Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News. Peraza looks as though he'll be limited to a utility role while he's with the big club.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Angels' Gio Urshela: Tallies three hits Sunday
Urshela went 3-for-5 and scored a run in Sunday's loss to the Rangers.
Urshela recorded his fourth three-hit game of the season in the loss, lifting his season slash line to .304/.328/.348. He's gone 6-for-10 over his past three games, but he hasn't collected an extra-base hit since since going deep against Boston on April 15.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Not in lineup Monday
Henderson is out of the lineup for Monday's game versus the Rays.
The left-handed-hitting Henderson will take a seat as Tampa Bay brings southpaw Shane McClanahan to the hill. Henderson is sporting just a .458 OPS against lefties this season. Ramon Urias will step in at third base Monday while Henderson retreats to the bench.

Carter Kieboom 3B | CLE
Nationals' Carter Kieboom: Activated and optioned
Washington activated Kieboom (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday.
Kieboom will likely make his 2023 debut for the Triple-A club Tuesday after he wrapped up a four-game rehab assignment at Double-A Harrisburg over the weekend. He went 3-for-12 with a 4:6 BB:K during his time in the Eastern League. The 25-year-old remains on the Nationals' 40-man roster and could get a look in an everyday role at third base at some point later this season, but he'll likely need to stay healthy and enjoy some prolonged success at Triple-A before he merits a call-up. Kieboom was sidelined for the entire 2022 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery and missed the first month of the current campaign due to a right shoulder impingement.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Might not return until this weekend
Moncada (back) could remain on his rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte a bit longer, with a return from the 10-day injured list coming perhaps this weekend for the beginning of the White Sox's homestand, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Manager Pedro Grifol said Sunday that he wouldn't rule out Moncada being activated ahead of Monday's series opener in Kansas City, but all signs point to the third baseman continuing his rehab assignment a little while longer. Moncada has gone 5-for-9 with a home run in his first three rehab games, so his bat looks ready. However, the White Sox want to make sure the back injury that has kept him out since mid-April is behind him.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Swipes two bases
Hayes went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two steals in Sunday's 10-1 loss against Toronto.
Hayes picked up his first stolen base since April 18 after drawing a walk in the first inning before swiping a second bag in the sixth. The 26-year-old third baseman has gone 4-for-8 in his last two games following a 5-for-27 stretch. Hayes is now slashing .242/.300/.359 with a homer, 9 RBI, 20 runs scored and five stolen bases in eight attempts. While his offensive production has been modest thus far, Hayes' strikeout rate is down to 12.1 percent from 21.8 percent last season, giving some reason for optimism.
