Gelof will be called up from Triple-A Las Vegas by the Athletics on Friday to make his major-league debut, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Gelof, 23, has collected a .304/.401/.529 batting line with 12 home runs and 20 stolen bases at Vegas in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League this season. He's been particularly hot over his last 10 games with a .413/.426/.870 line, five homers and three steals. Gelof has played second base exclusively this season and should take over as the everyday player at the keystone for the A's. He'll be weighed down by his team and ballpark but nonetheless should be rostered in deeper fantasy leagues.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone revealed after Sunday's loss to the Cubs that Donaldson has been dealing with a lower-body issue since the team's last road trip, Max Goodman of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Boone made the revelation after Donaldson appeared to tweak his right calf during his first plate appearance Sunday, although he wound up staying in and finishing the game. For now, it looks like Donaldson will avoid the injured list and continue to be used more at designated hitter. However, given the 37-year-old's lengthy history of calf problems, it's something to monitor.

Bernabel (back) began a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on June 28 and has gone 11-for-33 with two home runs and four doubles over eight games.

Bernabel has resided on Double-A Hartford's 7-day injured list since May 26 with a back injury, but he looks like he could be activated shortly after the minor-league All-Star break. Prior to being shut down in late May, Bernabel had posted a .630 OPS over 126 plate appearances with Hartford.

Peterson went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run in a loss to the Red Sox on Sunday.

Peterson closed out the first half on a high note with his first multi-hit effort since June 14. The veteran infielder has been mired in a prolonged 18-game slump since that point that had seen him produce just a .113/.176/.194 slash line across 69 plate appearances, and given the Athletics' non-contending status, it's certainly possible he increasingly cedes playing time to younger options during the second half of the campaign.

Rivera started at third base and went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Pirates.

Rivera and Evan Longoria have jockeyed for starts at the hot corner with the former's playing time on an uptick. Unfortunately, Rivera heads into the All-Star break hitless in the last 11 at-bats. After his callup in late April, Rivera posted a .361/.391/.472 line over his first 33 games, but that dropped to .145/.158/.164 in the previous 14 contests. There's room for improvement at third base; the Diamondbacks rank 21st with a .686 OPS from its third basemen.

Freeman went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Royals.

Freeman notched multiple hits and a steal for his second straight start; however, his playing time remains sparse and his only path to a more consistent role seems to be if someone ahead of him gets injured. The 24-year-old has done well when given an opportunity and is now slashing .308/.352/.400 with six extra-base hits, four RBI, 11 runs, three steals and a 4:11 BB:K in 72 plate appearances.

Davis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Rockies.

Davis snapped a 19-game homer drought Sunday, and his blast accounted for the only run of the game. He batted .231 with a 4:24 BB:K over that span. For the season, he has a .277/.350/.450 slash line with 11 homers, 46 RBI, 37 runs scored and a stolen base over 84 contests. Davis should continue to see the bulk of the playing time at third base.

Machado went 2-for-4 with two homers and five RBI in Sunday's win over the Mets.

Machado ripped a three-run shot in the first inning and followed that up with a two-run blast in the fifth. It was his second multi-homer game of the month, and he's drilled six home runs in his last eight games. After entering June with an uncharacteristically bad .654 OPS, Machado is now slashing .261/.307/.458 with 15 home runs, 49 RBI and 41 runs across 319 plate appearances.

Paredes went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 10-4 win over Atlanta.

Paredes pushed the Rays' lead to 4-0 with a two-run homer in the opening frame, which was his 16th long ball of the season and the third in his past five games. The 24-year-old enters the All-Star break with a .265/.370/.504 slash line, 14 doubles, 56 RBI and 43 runs through 80 contests.

Urias went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Sunday's 15-2 win over the Twins.

Urias has hit safely in six of seven games in July, going 8-for-27 (.296) in that span. The infielder's power has largely been absent this year -- he has just four homers in 63 contests after posting 16 long balls in 118 games a year ago. He's at a .261/.328/.396 slash line with 30 RBI, 27 runs scored, 16 doubles and three stolen bases through 229 plate appearances. Urias could have some trouble maintaining regular playing time in the second half, though he should be able to compete with Adam Frazier at second base while also mixing in at third base and shortstop.
