Busch went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and an RBI in Tuesday's 8-7 win against Pittsburgh.

Busch was called up from the minors prior to the contest and batted seventh while serving as Los Angeles' designated hitter in his first major-league game. The 25-year-old struck out during the second inning in his first at-bat and followed that with a groundout in the fourth before notching his first big-league hit and RBI with a single in the sixth. He walked in his final plate appearance and came around to score on a Chris Taylor home run. Busch's call-up coincided with Max Muncy going on the paternity list, so the rookie's current stay with the big club may not be long.

Castro went 1-for-4 Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Castro got off to a hot start after becoming an everyday player in the absence of Oneil Cruz (ankle). However, he's in the midst of a cold stretch, as he's collected only three hits in his last 22 at-bats across seven games. Overall, he's still hitting .258/.370/.403 in 73 plate appearances.

Moustakas is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Moustakas went a collective 4-for-12 with a double and two runs while he was included in the lineup each of the last three games, making one start apiece at designated hitter, first base and third base. While the Rockies have each of their top options at those respective spots (Charlie Blackmon, C.J. Cron and Ryan McMahon) available, however, Moustakas won't get the opportunity to play on a regular basis.

Hayes went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Hayes came to bat with runners on first and second in the second frame, and he ripped a double down the third-base line to drive in both. He now has five multi-hit efforts in his last 10 starts, during which he's hitting .333 with six RBI and 10 runs scored. Though Hayes has only one homer on the campaign, he has a .151 ISO through 101 plate appearances -- a 50-point increase over the 2022 season.

Senzel will now start at third base and bat eighth Wednesday against the Rangers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

After initially being set for a day off, Senzel will re-enter the lineup after Wil Myers (illness) was a late scratch. Senzel will look to build off of his 3-for-4 performance from Tuesday, when he drove in two runs and scored once in a 7-6 win over Texas.

Peraza is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.

He'll sit for the second time in the three-game series after compiling a .158/.304/.158 slash line in his 23 plate appearances for the Yankees since getting a call-up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on April 16. Though the Yankees have two spots in the everyday lineup available while Harrison Bader (oblique) and Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) are on the shelf, none of Peraza, Willie Calhoun, Aaron Hicks, Isiah Kiner-Falefa or Franchy Cordero have performed well enough of late to emerge as a stable starting option.

Senzel is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Though Senzel looked to be in line for a utility role when he was initially activated from the 10-day injured list April 13, he's instead held a fairly consistent role in center field. He's started in all but two of the Reds' previous 13 games, manning center field in eight of those contests. Senzel will get a breather for the day game while TJ Friedl fills in for him in center.

Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-6 loss to the Red Sox.

With the Orioles down 8-1 in the bottom of the ninth, Henderson tried to spark a rally by taking Kaleb Ort deep for his second homer of the year, but the comeback fell short. Henderson has had a disappointing start to the season, but he's beginning to show signs of life at the plate, batting .267 (8-for-30) over the last 10 games with two doubles, one homer, two RBI and nine runs.

Rendon went 0-for-2 with two walks, a steal and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

Rendon walked and scored in the first inning and then later walked again in the fifth and stole second for his first stolen base of the year. The 33-year-old has struggled to get going for the most part over the first month of the campaign, slashing .226/.353/.264 with just two extra base hits, 11 RBI, eight runs and an 11:9 BB:K over 68 plate appearances.

Senzel went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's victory over the Rangers.

Senzel drove in the Reds' first run with an RBI single in the seventh inning. He'd add another RBI in Cincinnati's six-run eighth before scoring on Jake Fraley's double. Senzel had been stuck in a 1-for-18 slump prior to Tuesday's contest. He's now slashing .200/.273/.225 with a stolen base through his first 44 plate appearances this season.
