  • Kyle Teel C | CHW

White Sox's Kyle Teel: Stays hot

Teel went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Twins.

Teel delivered RBI singles in each of the first two innings, continuing his tear at the plate. He's gone 11-for-23 with two homers, eight RBI and seven runs scored across his last six games. Teel has moved up in the White Sox's order as a result of his hot streak, as he's hit third in four of his last five starts and served as the leadoff hitter on the fifth occasion.

  • Cal Raleigh C | SEA

Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Sets MLB record in win

Raleigh went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Sunday's 11-4 win over the Athletics.

Raleigh went deep in the first and second innings, giving him 49 homers on the year. That's the most in a single season by a catcher, and impressively, he still has more than a month left to add to his total. Raleigh has smacked seven homers over his last 21 games, and he's still leading the majors in long balls. The 28-year-old has added a .247/.353/.593 slash line with 106 RBI, 85 runs scored, 14 stolen bases and 19 doubles through 128 contests.

  • Austin Wells C | NYY

Yankees' Austin Wells: Drawing third straight start

Wells will start at catcher and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Wells' playing time had taken a hit recently with the Yankees beginning to hand Ben Rice more work behind the plate, but Wells will make his third straight start at catcher to close out the series with Boston. Rice will occupy first base Sunday while Paul Goldschmidt gets squeezed out of the lineup for a second straight matchup with a right-handed starting pitcher (Dustin May).

  • Mitch Garver C | SEA

Mariners' Mitch Garver: Playing time on upswing

Garver will start at designated hitter and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Garver will stay in the lineup for the fifth time in six games, but his uptick in playing time has mostly been a byproduct of Seattle facing five left-handed starting pitchers during that stretch. The 34-year-old is slashing just .179/.263/.274 with a 33.9 percent strikeout rate over 118 plate appearances versus righties this season, so he doesn't have much of a case to move outside of his current short-side platoon role.

  • Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Receiving rest Sunday

O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

O'Hoppe will get some rest for Sunday's matinee after he had started behind the plate in both of the previous two contests. Travis d'Arnaud will form a battery with starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks in the series finale versus Chicago.

  • Angels' Travis d'Arnaud: Replacing resting O'Hoppe

D'Arnaud will start at catcher and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Cubs.

With No. 1 backstop Logan O'Hoppe getting a breather for the series finale after starting at catcher Friday and Saturday, d'Arnaud will receive a turn behind the dish Sunday. Since the All-Star break, d'Arnaud is hitting a lowly .091/.216/.136 with zero home runs, zero steals, one RBI and three runs in 16 games.

  • Jonah Heim C | TEX

Rangers' Jonah Heim: Set to lose work to Higashioka

Heim is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Heim had started six of the previous seven contests, but with Kyle Higashioka returning to the lineup Wednesday after recovering from a hamstring injury, the duo will move back into a timeshare. With a .788 OPS since the All-Star break, Higashioka has handily outproduced Heim, who has posted a .638 OPS over that same stretch.

  • Blue Jays' Alejandro Kirk: Idle Sunday

Kirk is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

After starting behind the plate in four straight contests, Kirk will get a routine breather. Tyler Heineman will spell him at catcher and bat ninth.

  • Rays' Hunter Feduccia: Idle against lefty

Feduccia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

With southpaw Matthew Liberatore toeing the rubber for the Cardinals, Feduccia will give way to Nick Fortes behind the dish. Feduccia has produced a minuscule .506 OPS in 15 games since being acquired from the Dodgers at the trade deadline.

  • Red Sox's Carlos Narvaez: Finishes off former team

Narvaez went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and an additional run scored in Saturday's 12-1 win over the Yankees.

Narvaez put the final touch on the win with a two-run shot to left-center field to cap a seven-run ninth inning. He's been a thorn in the side of his former organization, slashing .348/.545/.795 with two home runs and six RBI over seven contests against the Yankees in 2025. Narvaez has a .738 OPS with 11 home runs, 21 doubles, 38 RBI and 45 runs scored over 93 games in his first season with Boston.
