Jose Trevino C | CIN
Rangers' Jose Trevino: Sitting in second straight
Trevino is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Trevino saw his workload pick up in mid-to-late August when Jonah Heim landed on the COVID-19-related injured list, but the former appears to have since faded back to the No. 2 role. With Heim drawing a second straight start behind the dish Sunday, Trevino will remain on the bench.

Red Sox's Christian Vazquez: On bench Sunday
Vazquez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Vazquez gets the afternoon off after catching Saturday night's extra-inning win and going 2-for-3 with a double. Kevin Plawecki starts behind the dish and bats eighth Sunday.

Stassi is on the bench for Sunday's game against the Astros, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The 30-year-old backstop takes a seat after going hitless in his last four games. Kurt Suzuki is catching and batting eighth Sunday.

Yasmani Grandal C | PIT
White Sox's Yasmani Grandal: Mashes homer No. 20
Grandal went 3-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Saturday's 9-8 extra-inning loss to the Red Sox.
His fifth-inning blast off Ryan Brasier gave the White Sox an 8-7 lead, but the offense went cold the rest of the way. Grandal has now reached 20 homers for the fifth straight full campaign (not including the COVID-shortened 2020 season), and since returning to action in late August he's slashing a stunning .462/.577/1.000 with six home runs, 12 runs scored and 17 RBI in only 12 games with a 10:6 BB:K.

Kyle Higashioka C | TEX
Yankees' Kyle Higashioka: Blasts 10th home run
Higashioka went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 8-7 win over the Mets.
Higashioka took Taijuan Walker deep for a two-run homer in the second inning. It was the first of three Yankees home runs that inning. The catcher has started just six games since Aug. 19, but he has homered in three of them. He is slashing .178/.254/.411 with 10 long balls, 24 RBI and 20 runs scored in 181 plate appearances.

Danny Jansen C | TEX
Blue Jays' Danny Jansen: Pops two-run homer
Jansen went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in an 11-10 win over Baltimore in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.
The catcher went yard in the fourth inning for his third homer in seven games since he returned from a hamstring strain. He's gone 7-for-19 (.368) in that span. Jansen is up to eight long balls, 15 RBI, 21 runs scored and eight doubles through 163 plate appearances this year.

Jonah Heim C | ATL
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Hits game-winning homer
Heim went 2-for-3 with a double, a homer and two RBI in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Athletics. He also drew a walk.
Heim smoked a double off Cole Irvin before bashing a game-winning two-run homer off Andrew Chafin in the eighth inning. The long ball is Heim's first since Aug. 1 and can perhaps put some juice back in the catcher's bat. His average has slid from .227 to .200 since the start of August.
