Willson Contreras 1B | BOS
Cubs' Willson Contreras: Out of lineup Wednesday
Contreras is not in the Cubs' lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the Rockies.
Contreras played in both games of Thursday's doubleheader, so Miguel Montero will take over behind the plate to give him a breather. The 24-year-old is having a tough start to the month, hitting just .167 with three RBI over 30 at-bats.

Cameron Rupp C | MIN
Phillies' Cameron Rupp: Sitting out Wednesday
Rupp is not in the Phillies' lineup for Wednesday's matinee against the Mariners.
It will be the second time in the last three games that Andrew Knapp gets the start behind the plate. It's a surprising move considering Rupp's recent offensive tear, as he has gone 7-for-16 with two homers and three RBI over the past week.

Yasmani Grandal C | PIT
Dodgers' Yasmani Grandal: Hits fourth home run Tuesday
Grandal stayed hot at the plate Tuesday, going 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 4-3 win over the Pirates.
After a slow start to the season, Grandal has picked things up of late, batting .370 (10-for-27) with a homer and six RBI over his last six contests. The switch-hitting catcher has proven to be a streaky hitter in the past and he appears to be locked in at the plate right now.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Marlins' J.T. Realmuto: Tops lineup Tuesday
Realmuto is batting leadoff Tuesday against the Cardinals, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
The Marlins are trying to shake the order up to produce some runs, so they'll send Realmuto and his .317 batting average to the top of the order. He could be in line for a few more runs Tuesday while he's hitting ahead of Christian Yelich, Marcell Ozuna and Giancarlo Stanton.

Willson Contreras 1B | BOS
Cubs' Willson Contreras: Sits for first game of doubleheader
Contreras is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies.
The Cubs are going with the exact same lineup they had for Monday's game, which got rained out. Miguel Montero will start at catcher and hit fifth against righty Antonio Senzatela. Look for Contreras to be back in the fold for the night game against southpaw Kyle Freeland.

Yasmani Grandal C | PIT
Dodgers' Yasmani Grandal: Drives in two in rout of Pirates
Grandal went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 12-1 win over Pittsburgh.
Grandal slugged two Opening Day home runs, but he hasn't done a whole lot since, and he's slashing only .225/.307/.382. The switch-hitting backstop is known as a streaky batter, though, and while he doesn't make consistent contact, he remains one of the more attractive fantasy catchers because of his 20-homer potential.
-
Austin Hedges C | CLE
Padres' Austin Hedges: Records first hits of May
Hedges went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 5-1 victory over the Rangers.
Hedges was 0-for-13 in May coming into this game, and the two-hit performance raised his ugly slash line to .188/.248/.438 on the year. While the 24-year-old does have some thump in his lumber, he's always been known as more of a defensive specialist behind the plate and should only be an option in deep NL-only or two-catcher leagues.

Elias Diaz C | KC
Pirates' Elias Diaz: Sent down to minors
Diaz was sent down to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Stephen J. Nesbitt reports.
Diaz served as the backup catcher while Francisco Cervelli (foot) battled discomfort. Now that Cervelli is back, Diaz's presence is no longer required. He went 2-for-9 with a run scored during his stint in the majors.

Willson Contreras 1B | BOS
Cubs' Willson Contreras: Out of lineup Monday
Contreras is not in the lineup Monday against the Rockies.
Contreras will get the day off after catching all 18 innings during Sunday's loss to the Yankees, going 1-for-8. Miguel Montero will draw the start behind the dish Monday.

Devin Mesoraco C | NYM
Reds' Devin Mesoraco: Takes seat Monday
Mesoraco is not in the lineup Monday against the Yankees.
Mesoraco will take a seat for the second straight game as the Reds continue to monitor his workload. Tucker Barnhart will draw the start behind the dish in his stead. In seven games since being activated from the disabled list, Mesoraco is 4-for-19 (.211) with one homer and a 4:3 K:BB.
