Narvaez isn't starting Monday's game against Arizona.

Narvaez -- and his .576 OPS against left-handed pitchers -- will take a seat Monday with Tommy Henry starting for the D-backs. Victor Caratini will start behind the dish instead and bat eighth.

Gomes will start at catcher and bat eighth in Monday's game in Cincinnati.

Though he's in the lineup Monday, Gomes has moved back to the No. 2 role at catcher after Willson Contreras returned from the injured list last week. Contreras is just getting a breather, so Gomes will pick up a start in his stead.

If the Phillies can grab a win in the next two days or if Milwaukee loses to Arizona on Monday or Tuesday, Realmuto would likely be a candidate to sit out Wednesday's regular-season finale for rest purposes.

Heineman (concussion) was activated from the 7-day injured list and is starting behind the plate Sunday against the Cardinals, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports.

Heineman has been unavailable for the past week-plus with a concussion, but he's cleared the necessary protocols and is back in the lineup Sunday. The 31-year-old had a .916 OPS over eight games in September prior to his stint on the injured list.

Collins was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a non-COVID-19 illness, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports.

Collins was held out of the lineup the past couple days and will now miss the closing stretch of the season due to the ailment. The 27-year-old finishes 2022 with a .155/.231/.320 slash line, four home runs and 11 RBI in 36 games between the Pirates and Blue Jays.

Adams isn't in the lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Phillies.

Adams served as the starting catcher during Saturday's matinee and went 1-for-3 with a run, a walk and two strikeouts. Tres Barrera is starting behind the dish and batting ninth for the second game.

Realmuto isn't starting the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against Washington.

Realmuto started behind the dish during Saturday's matinee and went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and two strikeouts. Garrett Stubbs will start at catcher and bat ninth during the second game.
