Knizner went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Brewers.
Knizner connected for a two-run shot off Brent Suter in the top of the fourth frame, extending the Cardinals' lead to 4-0. The homer was his third of the season and first since Aug. 27. Since the beginning of September, Knizner has gone 2-for-36 with a home run, a double, two RBI and two runs scored while striking out 10 times.

Raleigh (thumb) is starting behind the plate and batting fifth Tuesday against the Rangers.
The 25-year-old exited Sunday's game due to his lingering thumb injury, but he's back in the lineup after Seattle had a scheduled day off Monday. Raleigh is 4-for-13 with two doubles, two home runs and six RBI over his past four contests, and it appears he'll continue to play through the injury down the stretch.

Heim isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's contest in Seattle.
Heim boasts an impressive .838 OPS against left-handed pitching this season, but he will get a day off against southpaw Robbie Ray. Sam Huff will take his spot behind the plate and bat sixth.

D'Arnaud will receive a second day of rest after going 5-for-18 in Atlanta's previous series against the Phillies. William Contreras will take over for him behind the plate, letting Marcell Ozuna serve as designated hitter and bat eighth.

White Sox's Carlos Perez: Up as backup catcher
Perez was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday.
He may serve as the backup catcher for the rest of the season, as Seby Zavala was placed on the concussion injured list. Perez hit .254/.316/.450 with 21 home runs in 109 games at Triple-A.

Zavala was placed on the 7-day concussion injured list Tuesday.
Zavala will be eligible to return Oct. 2 in San Diego, but it's possible his season is over due to the concussion. Carlos Perez was recalled to take over the backup catcher duties.

Contreras (ankle) was activated from the injured list Tuesday, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Contreras just resumed full baseball activities Friday, and the Cubs did not have a target date for his return at that point. However, they did not need to see much before adding him back to the active roster. It's unclear if Contreras will handle an everyday role right away, but fantasy players can plan on having him available for the homestretch.
