Nationals' Keibert Ruiz: Three hits in loss
Ruiz went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Thursday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Getting the nod at DH and batting fifth, Ruiz produced his fourth multi-hit performance in his last nine starts. The switch-hitting catcher is batting .297 (11-for-37) over that stretch, pushing his slash line on the season to .240/.300/.389 with a career-high eight homers in 250 plate appearances as the Nationals continue to give the 24-year-old a heavy workload.

Gary Sanchez C | MIL
Padres' Gary Sanchez: Busts out of slump
Sanchez went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Giants.
Sanchez broke out of his recent slump in a big way, crushing a three-run shot to center field in the first inning to put the Padres up 3-0. He would later add two singles while also coming around to score a second time, giving him his first three-hit performance of the season. The catcher had gone 0-for-18 over his previous seven games, but he now has six homers and 17 RBI in June to go along with 10 runs scored.

Cal Raleigh C | SEA
Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Goes deep in rout
Raleigh went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run a 10-2 victory versus the Yankees on Thursday.
Raleigh hit the last of four solo homers for the Mariners, going deep to right field in the fourth inning. The long ball was his 10th of the campaign, making him the seventh big-league backstop to reach double-digit homers this season. Raleigh hasn't quite matched the pace that saw him go deep 27 times last year, but he's improved his strikeout rate by over three percentage points and is reaching base slightly more often overall.

Francisco Mejia C | TB
Rays' Francisco Mejia: Swats homer in loss
Mejia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday in a loss to the Royals.
Mejia's seventh-inning solo blast tied the game 3-3, though Kansas City ultimately pulled out the win. The backstop has hit safely in all but one of his nine games in June, batting .355 (11-for-31) with two homers and six RBI over that span. However, he continues to split time behind the plate with the struggling Christian Bethancourt, who is slashing .171/.186/.171 this month but has played in two more contests than Mejia thus far.
