Garver (wrist) isn't in the Mariners' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.

Garver will get an extra day to recover Tuesday after getting hit in the wrist by a pitch during Sunday's loss to Minnesota. His absence will allow Mitch Haniger to serve as Seattle's designated hitter while batting eighth.

Stanton (hamstring) did some hitting Tuesday, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

It would appear to be the first time he's done any hitting since he landed on the 10-day injured list a little over a week ago with a left hamstring strain. Stanton is moving in the right direction but is still expected to miss about four weeks of action.

Grossman is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.

Grossman had started back-to-back games at DH, but he'll give way to Derek Hill on Tuesday. Grossman is slashing .211/.323/.278 across 158 plate appearances this season.

Larnach is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Detroit.

With southpaw Tarik Skubal starting for the Tigers on Tuesday, Larnach will yield to Willi Castro in left field. Larnach is 3-for-11 with a two-run homer across his last three games.

Alvarez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Monday's 3-1 victory over the Blue Jays.

The Houston designated hitter provided two insurance runs by launching a 397-foot homer off Zach Pop in the ninth inning to extend the Astros' lead to 3-0. Alvarez has opened July nicely on the tails of a scorching June in which he hit .349 (30-for-86) with seven homers, 19 RBI and 20 runs scored. The 27-year-old's been the heart and soul of the Houston lineup this season, as expected, slashing .294/.372/.528 in 352 total plate appearances.

Larnach went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Mariners.

Larnach got the Twins on the board quickly with an RBI single in the first and later came through with a timely two-run homer in the eighth to push his club ahead 5-3. Sunday was the third time this season Larnach's had three RBI in a game, and it was his first since June 16, which was the last time he homered coming into the game. For the year, the 27-year-old is slashing .256/.306/.440 with eight homers, 28 RBI, 21 runs and a 13:33 BB:K in 183 plate appearances.

O'Hearn went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Rangers.

O'Hearn got a rare start versus lefty Andrew Heaney on Sunday and came through with three base hits when most of the lineup was held in check. Heading into Sunday's game, O'Hearn was just 2-for-15 against southpaws for the season but he got the start with Ryan Mountcastle unable to go due to an illness. He's now reached safely in 13 consecutive games to close out June and is slashing .285/.347/.461 with 10 homers, 34 RBI, 31 runs and a 22:25 BB:K in 251 plate appearances this season.

Malloy went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Angels.

Malloy's blast in the fourth inning, his third of the season, extended the Detroit lead to 4-0. The rookie has gotten off to a sluggish start in the majors, as he's still batting only .175 with a 38 percent strikeout rate after Sunday. Despite the struggles, Malloy has good power potential, and his prospect pedigree suggests that he'll figure it out at some point. However, fantasy managers may have to remain patient in the short term.

Garver (wrist) had X-rays on his right wrist come back negative after being hit by a pitch during Sunday's loss to the Twins, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Garver appears to have avoided a significant injury after exiting Sunday's contest early. Manager Scott Servais said the team will reevaluate Garver's status following Monday's off day, but the 33-year-old can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Garver left Sunday's game against the Twins in the third inning due to a right wrist contusion, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Garver was struck in the right wrist by a 92.7 mph sinker from Joe Ryan in the bottom of the second inning. He then exited the contest in the following frame. With Seattle having an off day Monday, the 33-year-old will have extra time to nurse the injury before Tuesday's series opener with the Orioles.
