The Mariners reinstated Torrens from the COVID-19 injured list Monday.

Seattle designated first baseman Mike Ford for assignment to clear room on the 40-man roster and 28-man active roster for Torrens, who was inactive for six days after landing on the IL. Torrens drew three starts at catcher and one at designated hitter over Seattle's first 10 games, going 3-for-13 at the plate with a walk and two runs.

Winker went 1-for-5 with an RBI sacrifice fly and a game-winning run-scoring single in an extra-innings win over the Royals on Sunday.

Winker played a critical role in the red-hot Mariners' win, as his 10th-inning sacrifice fly tied the game at 4-4 and his 12th-inning single plated Adam Frazier with the winning run. Winker is showing signs of breaking out of a recent slump, as he was productive as a pinch hitter Saturday night before Sunday's two-RBI tally.

Brantley went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Blue Jays.

Brantley drilled his second homer of the year in the fourth inning Sunday, knocking Yusei Kikuchi out of the contest in the process. He's 11-for-28 (.393) with two long balls and five RBI over his last seven games. The veteran outfielder is slashing .316/.361/.474 through 62 plate appearances.

Buxton went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Sunday's 6-4 win over the White Sox.

Buxton drove an opposite-field shot in the seventh inning off Aaron Bummer and later hammered a monster 469-foot shot off Liam Hendriks to end the game in the 10th. The 28-year-old continues to show that he's one of the league's most dangerous hitters when he's healthy; he went 6-for-9 with three homers, a double, five runs and seven RBI over the weekend. Buxton is sporting a .351/.415/.946 slash line with 11 RBI and six long balls through 40 plate appearances.

Winker entered Saturday's win over the Royals as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and contributed a walk, a two-run double and a run over two plate appearances.

The struggling outfielder had gotten the night off from starting duties, but he ended up playing a part in the Mariners' 13-run breakout. Winker's eighth-inning two-bagger came at a particularly timely juncture, as it gave Seattle breathing room after the Royals had closed to within 8-7. Perhaps Saturday's productive night will help reignite Winker's bat after he'd gone 1-for-21 over the previous six games.

Miller is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

The lefty-hitting Miller will head to the bench with a southpaw (Cole Irvin) on the bump for Oakland. The righty-hitting Nick Solak replaces him in left field, while Marcus Semien takes over leadoff duties in Miller's stead.

Reyes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Reyes will take a seat for only the second time this season, ending a streak of three consecutive starts in which he went 3-for-11 with his first two home runs of the campaign. With Reyes on the bench, Josh Naylor will serve as the Guardians' designated hitter.

Martinez (groin) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

A sore left adductor will keep Martinez on the bench for the fourth game in a row, though the Red Sox haven't yet indicated that the issue is something that will result in him moving to the 10-day injured list. Ideally, fantasy managers will get more clarity on Martinez's situation before the Red Sox begin a seven-game week Monday in Toronto.

Choi is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

With southpaw Rich Hill on the hill for Boston, the Rays will stock up some extra right-handed bats in the series finale. The lefty-hitting Choi will bow out of the lineup while the righty-hitting Harold Ramirez steps in as Tampa Bay's designated hitter.

Miller went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and two RBI in Saturday's 2-0 win over Oakland.

Miller delivered the game's only two runs in the eighth inning. One batter earlier, Athletics manager Mark Kotsay brought in right-handed reliever Domingo Acevdo, who had to pitch to Miller as part of a three-batter minimum. Otherwise, had a lefty hurler been on the mound, Rangers manager Chris Woodward would likely have pinch hit for Miller. He's scuffled since a hot start, going 4-for-25 over the previous nine games. When Miller starts, he gets maximum plate appearances as the leadoff hitter, but that may not continue considering his .256 on-base percentage and 5.4 BB%.
