Cleveland placed Reyes (abdomen) on the 10-day injured list Sunday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Reyes was sent in for an MRI after exiting Saturday's game against the Twins with a left abdominal strain, and while the extent of his injury still isn't known, Cleveland determined the 25-year-old was dealing with more than a day-to-day concern. Cleveland recalled outfield prospect Owen Miller from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move, and he could get the opportunity to play on a near-everyday basis while Reyes is on the shelf.

Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a double, triple, RBI and two strikeouts in Saturday's 6-2 loss to Oakland.

Ohtani was stranded on second after a two-out double in the sixth and brought home a run with his eighth-inning triple. His .320 on-base percentage is about average, but a .619 slugging percentage brings his OPS to .939, a mark that places Ohtani among the league leaders.

Canha went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and two runs in Saturday's 6-2 victory over the Angels.

Canha tripled and scored in the first before doubling and scoring in the third. His .381 on-base percentage is among the best in the league, and Canha recorded his ninth HBP, putting him in the league lead.

Ohtani is tentatively scheduled to pitch Friday against the A's, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The 26-year-old surrendered two runs over 4.2 innings while showing slightly decreased velocity during his start Wednesday, so he'll receive a couple extra days before his next outing. Ohtani should continue to operate as the Halos' regular designated hitter in the meantime.

Stanton is reportedly doing well in his recovery, so a minimum IL stay is certainly a possibility. He'll likely resume full-time DH duties upon his return.

Choi went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in an extra-innings win over the Blue Jays on Friday.

Choi came on as a pinch hitter for Mike Brosseau and ended up logging four plate appearances, with his sixth-inning two-run blast tying the game at 5-5 until the 12th frame. Choi has made the most of his delayed season debut, hitting safely in each of his first five games and quickly racking up eight RBI with the help of a pair of round trippers.

Canha went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 8-4 win over the Angels.

Canha hit a solo home run off Jose Quintana in the third inning Friday. The outfielder has homered in back-to-back games for the second time this season. His nine homers rank third on the Athletics and four of them have come in his last seven games. The 32-year-old is slashing .250/.374/.463 in 198 plate appearances. He leads Oakland in runs scored with 35 as the leadoff man. His six steals are one shy of tying a career high through a full season.

Cabrera went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Friday's 7-5 win over the Royals.

Cabrera opened the game's scoring in the second inning with a solo blast. He later put the Tigers back on top with a seventh-inning grand slam. The blasts were his first extra-base hits in the last 18 games and he was stuck in a 12-for-63 (.190) skid during that span. The veteran slugger has four homers with a .617 OPS through 115 plate appearances on the season.
