Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Knocks in two
Diaz went 2-for-5 with two RBI on Saturday against the Marlins.
Diaz was held out of the Rays' series earlier in the week against the Blue Jays due to passport issues, but he returned Friday and has started both games since. He delivered a key two-RBI single in the fifth frame Saturday and tallied his first multi-hit game since May 4. As that implies, Diaz has slowed a bit this month by going 10-for-47, albeit with 10 RBI and three runs scored across 12 games.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Belts first walk-off homer
Devers went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, two total runs and two total RBI in Saturday's 7-6 win against Atlanta.
Devers was a big factor in Boston's comeback victory, first plating a run with a single in the seventh inning. He then ended the game with a 402-foot solo shot in the ninth for the first walk-off long ball of his career. Devers has reached base safely in 19 of his past 20 contests and is batting .397 with six home runs and 20 RBI during that span.

Anthony Santander RF | TOR
Blue Jays' Anthony Santander: Nursing sore hip
Santander isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers due to left hip soreness, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Santander's hip reportedly began bothering him after a swing Thursday, and it helps explain why he sat out Friday's contest as well. His absence will move Vladimir Guerrero into the DH spot Saturday, putting Ernie Clement at first base and opening up second for Michael Stefanic.

Masataka Yoshida LF | BOS
Red Sox's Masataka Yoshida: Back to taking swings
Manager Alex Cora said Friday that Yoshida (shoulder) has returned to taking dry swings off a tee but is not yet throwing, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
Yoshida received a cortisone injection in early May to address lingering issues in his recovery from the shoulder surgery he underwent in October, and he's now back to taking part in baseball activities. Most of the 31-year-old's problems have been related to his throwing program, so he'll likely remain without a clear return timeline until he's able to ramp up his throwing with no issues.

Ben Rice C | NYY
Yankees' Ben Rice: Taking seat Friday
Rice is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets.
Rice is hitting just .225 in May but still has a .761 OPS this month thanks to six doubles and a homer, and he finds himself on the bench Friday for the second time in the Yankees' past three games. Jasson Dominguez will receive a turn at designated hitter while Cody Bellinger, Trent Grisham and Aaron Judge start from left to right in the outfield.

Anthony Santander RF | TOR
Blue Jays' Anthony Santander: Stepping out of lineup Friday
Santander is not in the lineup for Friday's game versus the Tigers.
Santander went 1-for-12 with five strikeouts in the past three games after sitting out a few days due to a shoulder issue, and he'll hit the bench for Friday's series opener against the Tigers. George Springer will serve as the designated hitter while Jonatan Clase and Nathan Lukes start in the corner outfield spots.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Back from restricted list
The Rays reinstated Diaz (personal) from the restricted list Friday.
The 33-year-old was unavailable for a three-game series in Toronto due to a passport issue, but he's back with the Rays for Friday's series opener in Miami. Diaz has a .238/.291/.400 slash line with six homers through 175 plate appearances this year, and he's batting just .184 (7-for-38) through 10 games in May.

Yordan Alvarez DH | HOU
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Remains out
Alvarez (hand) is still "a few days away" from returning to the lineup, Matt Kawahara reports.
Alvarez hit in the cage again Thursday, and manager Joe Espada relayed that everything went according to plan. It appears that Alvarez will return at some point during Houston's weekend series, but he remained out of the lineup Thursday against the Rangers.

Ben Rice C | NYY
Yankees' Ben Rice: Not starting Tuesday
Rice isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.
Rice will get a chance to catch his breath Tuesday after going 1-for-6 with an RBI and two strikeouts during Monday's victory. Jasson Dominguez will fill in as New York's DH and bat seventh.
