With the long ball, Schwarber has retaken the National League lead with 18 homers through Saturday's action. The slugger hadn't logged multiple hits since May 11 in Cleveland, and he now has four homers and eight RBI over his last 12 contests. He's slashing .255/.397/.580 with 40 RBI, 40 runs scored and four steals over 52 contests this season.

Santander went 2-for-2 with two walks in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay.

Santander was not in the Blue Jays' starting lineup for two straight games due to a left hip issue, but he was back out in right field for Saturday's contest. He reached base safely in all four plate appearances but wasn't brought home to score as the Jays' offense was limited to just one run. Santander has struggled at the plate this season but has been more effective since the beginning of May, slashing .245/.344/.377 with two home runs and six RBI in 61 plate appearances.

Pederson fractured his right hand during Saturday's 10-5 loss to the White Sox and said after the game that he expects to be out for around six weeks, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Pederson suffered the injury when he has hit by a Bryse Wilson pitch in the fourth inning. He initially stayed in the game and came around to score three batters later, but he was replaced by Kyle Higashioka in the fifth. The injury is an unfortunate setback for Pederson, who had shown improved production at the plate in recent weeks after getting off to an ugly start to the season. He's still batting just .131 with two home runs over 145 plate appearances, though he had gotten on base at a .269 clip thanks in large part to his strong 14.1 percent walk rate.

Santander (hip) is starting in right field and batting sixth against the Rays on Saturday.

Santander was held out of the Blue Jays' lineup for the past two games due to a lingering left hip issue, but he pinch hit in the ninth inning of Friday's game and is back in right field for Saturday's bout. Santander has slashed .216/.298/.353 with two home runs, six RBI and a 29.8 percent strikeout rate across 57 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

The Padres recalled Campusano from Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.

With Jason Heyward (oblique) headed for the IL, Campusano will come up from the minors to fill the open spot on San Diego's bench. The 26-year-old backstop is 0-for-6 with four walks in the big leagues this season but has slashed .275/.370/.550 with three homers, nine RBI and five runs across 46 plate appearances since being sent down in early May.

The Mets recalled Young from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

Young has spent the entire 2025 campaign in the minors, slashing .256/.371/.500 with five homers, 21 RBI and 15 runs scored across 97 Triple-A plate appearances. Now with the Mets, he'll supply the big club with a bench piece capable of playing in the infield and outfield. Jose Azocar was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Bell isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Bell will take a seat on the bench Saturday after going 3-for-16 with a homer and two runs scored across his last five games. James Wood will act as Washington's designated hitter instead while Alex Call, Robert Hassell and Daylen Lile start across the outfield.

Biggio isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins.

Biggio will take a seat on the bench to begin Saturday's contest after going 1-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's series opener. Salvador Perez will serve as the Royals' DH instead, while Freddy Fermin starts behind the plate.

Soler went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 7-4 win over the Marlins.

Soler had not homered since May 1, but he supplied an insurance run in the eighth inning of this contest. During that power drought, Soler hit .194 and slugged just .242 over 17 games while adding a 9:19 BB:K. The 33-year-old is up to seven homers, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .227/.301/.407 slash line across 47 games this season as the Angels' primary designated hitter. He's also seen some time in right field to put a little pressure on Jo Adell for playing time.
