Canha went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Yankees on Sunday.

Canha launched an ultimately meaningless solo shot in the ninth off Chasen Shreve, his first round tripper since May 2. The blast extended the 29-year-old's hitting streak to three games, and he's now reached safely in six straight contests overall.

Martinez went 2-for-3 a two-run home run and three RBI to help the Red Sox to a 5-3 victory over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Martinez kept right on rolling with another long ball -- his 10th of the year in 149 at-bats. The 30-year-old slugger has been absolutely dynamite since getting off to a relatively slow start, and he now has a ridiculous 1.018 OPS to kick off his first year with the Red Sox. The fact that his .624 slugging percentage is actually lower than the .690 mark he posted in his 119 games split between Detroit and Arizona last year speaks to how good Martinez has been over the last couple of years. It also suggests there shouldn't be cause for much worry about a substantial amount of regression from the absurd numbers he's currently posting.

Belt started in left field and went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and a run scored in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Pirates.

It was Belt's third start in the outfield over the Giants' previous five games, as manager Bruce Bochy looks for a creative way to fill the offensive void in left field. The veteran first baseman logged 16 games (10 starts) in the outfield last year, so he is no stranger to this lineup configuration. The 30-year-old is slashing .286/.396/.496 through 37 games this season, and gaining outfield eligibility (assuming he does at some point this year) can only help his steady value.

Stanton went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and three RBI in the Yankees' 6-2 victory over the Athletics on Sunday.

Stanton continues to work his way out of his much-discussed early-season slump with this four-hit, three-RBI effort, bringing his slugging percentage up to .516 and his OPS up to .855. He now has 10 home runs through 155 at-bats, so even if he doesn't end up matching last year's .281 average in his first season in pinstripes, there's little reason to believe Stanton won't be cranking his fair share of home runs as the season progresses.

Vogelbach went 3-for-7 with three home runs and four RBI for Triple-A Tacoma in a Sunday doubleheader split with Sacramento.

Vogelbach now has four round trippers in the last three games for the Rainiers, and he's gone deep a whopping eight times in just 18 games at the Triple-A level this season. The burly infielder's minor-league success is in stark contrast to his middling .204/.317/.352 line over 19 games with the Mariners thus far in 2018.

Ohtani struck out 11 Twins over 6.1 innings Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks. He did not factor into the decision.

He was utterly dominant for most of the start but was forced to turn the game over to Cam Bedrosian after reaching 103 pitches (69 strikes) midway through the seventh inning. Bedrosian promptly allowed an inherited runner to score, making it a 1-1 tie after seven frames. Four of Ohtani's six MLB starts have been quality, and he has now struck out 11-plus twice -- he fell one strikeout shy of tying his career high. He will start next weekend at home against the Rays.

Reyes' contract was purchased from Triple-A El Paso on Sunday, Dennis Lin of The Athletic San Diego reports.

His mammoth raw power has been on full display lately in the Pacific Coast League, as he is hitting .543 with seven home runs, eight walks and seven strikeouts over his last 35 at-bats. Reyes' power explosion at Triple-A is extra impressive given that he is age-appropriate for the level (turns 23 in July), this is his first taste of Triple-A pitching, and he is striking out less than 20 percent of the time (19.3 percent). Reyes will presumably displace Travis Jankowski from the go-to lineup while Wil Myers (oblique) is out, but it remains to be seen how the Padres will make room for everyone once Myers returns. Given his high-end raw power and contact skills, Reyes is a worthwhile add in most formats, as he could be one of the prospects from this year's class that actually swings mixed leagues.

Brantley went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run, three RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Royals.

Brantley hit his fifth home run of the season in the seventh inning off Brian Flynn. It was his second home run in three games, but his first against a left-handed pitcher this season. While he is batting a strong .336/.368/.569 in 116 at-bats this season, he has struggled against left-handed pitching, batting .250/.289/.278 in 36 at-bats entering Sunday's contest. He isn't likely to sit against them, however, given the Indians' precarious depth in the outfield and his otherwise strong start to the season.

Winker is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.

Winker will be the odd man out Sunday in the Reds' four-man outfield carousel, with the fact that the Dodgers are starting a left-handed pitcher in Rich Hill likely factoring heavily into interim manager Jim Riggleman's lineup decision. The 24-year-old is hitting .190/.346/.238 (75 wRC+) against southpaws this season.

Turner (wrist) is expected to be activated from the disabled list Tuesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic Los Angeles reports.

According to manager Dave Roberts, the plan is for Turner to make his long-anticipated season debut Tuesday against the Marlins. The third baseman slashed .322/.415/.530 with 21 home runs and 90 RBI last season, so his insertion back into the Dodgers' middling lineup will certainly be a welcome addition.
