Reyes isn't starting Wednesday against the Phillies.

Reyes is taking a seat for a second consecutive game after he went 0-for-7 with four strikeouts over his last two matchups. Willson Contreras will serve as the designated hitter while Yan Gomes starts at catcher.

Ozuna is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Washington, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Ozuna went 2-for-7 with a home run, a double, a walk and two RBI while starting against right-handed pitchers the past two days, but he'll cede designated hitter duties to Robbie Grossman in the series finale. Atlanta will likely take a committee approach to the DH spot over the final week of the regular season, making it difficult to depend on Ozuna seeing consistent at-bats.

Stanton isn't starting Wednesday against the Blue Jays.

Stanton went 0-for-9 with seven strikeouts over the first two games of the series in Toronto and will rest for Wednesday's series finale. Aaron Judge is serving as the designated hitter while Tim Locastro starts in right field.

Alvarez (ankle) isn't starting Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Alvarez exited Tuesday's win over Arizona with a left ankle injury, but he underwent X-rays that came back negative. Manager Dusty Baker said after the game that he hopes Alvarez will "be ready in a couple of days," so it's possible that he's back in action for Friday's series opener against the Rays following the Astros' scheduled day off Thursday. Chas McCormick will shift to left field while Mauricio Dubon starts in center Wednesday.

Vogelbach isn't starting Wednesday against Miami.

Vogelbach is on the bench for the fifth time in the last seven games since left-hander Jesus Luzardo is starting for the Marlins. Mark Vientos will serve as the designated hitter and bat seventh.

Cabrera will serve as the Tigers' designated hitter and No. 4 batter in Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Since returning Sept. 19 from a stint on the injured list, Cabrera looks to have moved into a near-everyday role after he had previously been playing on a more part-time basis prior to being shelved. He's hit a modest 3-for-19 since being activated, but Cabrera will pick up his fifth start in six games nonetheless.

Ramirez went 2-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Guardians.

Ramirez drove in the game-winning runs with a double in the 11th inning and the performance extended his hitting streak to a modest five games. In that span, he has gone 8-for-18 with three RBI and four runs scored. Ramirez has enjoyed an excellent season, highlighted by a career-high 57 RBI while also maintaining a career-best .314 average across 410 plate appearances.

Pederson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a triple and an additional run and RBI in a 5-2 victory over Colorado on Tuesday.

Pederson deposited German Marquez's first offering of the night over the center field fence before adding valuable insurance with an RBI triple and run in the seventh inning. The 30-year-old has rebounded nicely from a four-game hitless stretch by batting 8-for-22 over his last five games, though all hits were singles prior to Tuesday's pair of extra-base knocks.

Manager Dusty Baker said X-rays on Alvarez's left ankle came back negative after the slugger exited Tuesday's win over the win over the Diamondbacks, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

He appears to have avoided a serious injury after rolling his ankle while running the bases Tuesday, and Baker hopes Alvarez will "be ready in a couple of days." The 25-year-old shouldn't be expected to be in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale versus Arizona, and he'll then have Thursday's scheduled off day to rest up ahead Friday's series opener against Tampa Bay.

Harper went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 2-1 loss against the Cubs.

Harper provided all the offense for the Phillies on Tuesday with an RBI double in the top of the sixth inning. He also led off the ninth inning with a base hit but was quickly erased after J.T. Realmuto grounded into a fielder's choice. The two-hit effort comes after Harper was just 1-for-16 with seven strikeouts in his previous five games. He is slashing .292/.371/.540 through 391 plate appearances this season.
