Soler (pelvis) is taking part in mobility and core-strengthening work at the Marlins' spring training facility in Jupiter, Fla. this week, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

While it's encouraging that Soler is not being shut down from activity entirely after he landed on the 10-day injured list Friday with bilateral pelvis inflammation, he may have to ramp up the intensity of his workouts in the next day or two to have a realistic chance at being activated during the upcoming weekend. Bryan De La Cruz should continue to handle a full-time role in the Miami outfield for however long Soler is on the shelf.

Morel is not in the lineup Tuesday in Milwaukee, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

It's a day off for Morel, who went 0-for-2 with a trio of walks and two strikeouts Monday. David Bote will step in as the second baseman and ninth hitter for the second game of the series in Milwaukee.

Jimenez (hamstring) has concluded his rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte and rejoined the White Sox, but he won't be activated from the 60-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's game against the Twins, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Jimenez played a nine-inning game in the outfield for Charlotte on Monday, so the White Sox may have wanted to give him a full day to recover before potentially activating him and adding him to the lineup for Wednesday's series finale. After a two-week hiatus from game action at Triple-A, Jimenez appeared in 11 games upon resuming his rehab assignment June 21 and slashed an unremarkable .244/.311/.390 over that stretch, though he began to hit his stride with five hits over his final three contests. Assuming Jimenez ends up being activated Wednesday, the White Sox could deploy him as a designated hitter more frequently with the hope of avoiding a setback to his surgically repaired right hamstring. He's been on the shelf since late April while recovering from the injury.

Choi is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Choi typically finds himself on the bench against left-handed pitchers, but he'll take a seat Tuesday with a righty (Nick Pivetta) on the mound. Harold Ramirez will serve as the Rays' designated hitter and Isaac Paredes will man first base as Choi sits after going 3-for-13 with a solo home run, a double and a walk while starting in each of the previous three contests.

Alvarez went 1-for-3 with two walks, a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's 7-6 win over the Royals.

Kansas City worked around Alvarez most of the game, but Scott Barlow gave him a hittable pitch when it mattered most, and the 25-year-old launched it into the seats in right-center field to break a 6-6 tie in the bottom of the ninth inning. Alvarez has been locked in since mid-June despite missing a few games during that stretch due to minor injuries, slashing .306/.444/.833 over his last 11 contests with six homers, 10 RBI and 10 runs.

Hummel started in left field and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 8-3 win over the Giants.

Hummel was recently called up, giving Arizona another right-handed bat -- he's a switch hitter -- to deploy against the southpaws, like San Francisco's Carlos Rodon. The 27-year-old outfielder batted .178 during his first MLB stint in 2022, but after a productive stretch at Triple-A Reno, Hummel has hit in three consecutive games with two stolen bases.

Lewis (concussion) went 0-for-3 with a walk and an RBI over his first two rehab games with Triple-A Tacoma and High-A Everett on Sunday and Monday.

Lewis opened his rehab assignment up with the Rainiers on Sunday and logged two plate appearances as the designated hitter, and he served as the DH again for the AquaSox on Monday as he bumped down to a lower level of competition. The slugging outfielder's time in the minors is expected to last at least a few more games, as the Mariners would like to see him play multiple times in the outfield before activation is considered.

Turner went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Monday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

Turner's three hits were all singles. The third baseman has six games with three or more hits this year, and three of them have come in his last 11 contests. In that span, he's batting .395 (15-for-38). His surge at the plate has lifted his season slash line to .238/.308/.390 with seven home runs, 43 RBI, 36 runs scored, 20 doubles and a stolen base through 305 plate appearances. His average hasn't been this high since April 18, and it looks like Turner may be working his way out of a prolonged run of mediocrity.

Buxton went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-3 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

Buxton gave the Twins their first lead of the game with a fifth-inning blast. He also made a big contribution on defense, making a catch at the wall and firing a throw to Gio Urshela as part of a triple play to cut down a White Sox rally in the seventh. With three homers in his last six games, Buxton is still showing power, but he's gone only 4-for-23 (.174) in that span. The outfielder has 22 homers, 40 RBI, 46 runs scored, one stolen base and a .226/.301/.574 slash line through 256 plate appearances.

Blackmon is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Blackmon is hitting .321 (36-for-112) since June 2, but he will be held out Monday with the Rockies loading up on right-handed hitters against Dodgers southpaw Julio Urias. Yonathan Daza will enter the lineup in Blackmon's place.
