Lewis recently experienced knee soreness and won't begin a rehab assignment in the near future, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Lewis resumed running the bases early in the week but felt sore after going through a more comprehensive workout. The Mariners are hoping the 26-year-old will be able to return before the end of the season, but they'll likely exercise caution to prevent a more serious injury.

Dickerson isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Left-hander David Price is expected to serve as the primary pitcher in Friday's matchup, so Dickerson will be on the bench for a third straight game. Darin Ruf will start in left field and lead off.

Miller is not in the lineup Friday against the Marlins, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Miller finds himself on the bench for the second straight contest despite going 7-for-15 with three homers and six RBI in his past five games. J.T. Realmuto will receive the start at first base while Rafael Marchan works behind the plate against Miami left-hander Jesus Luzardo.

Winker (ribs) is still a week away from beginning a rehab assignment, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Winker has been out since mid-August with an intercostal strain. He recently resumed baseball activities but needs some time before he's ready for game action. The stated timeline should still give him a chance to return from the injured list in mid-September.

Rooker is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Rays.

Rooker singled twice and was hit by a pitch Wednesday, increasing his average to .217 in his last 10 games. Nick Gordon is playing center field and batting seventh Friday.

Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Thursday's loss against Atlanta.

Blackmon entered this game in a 2-for-24 slump but snapped that drought in style with a bases-loaded blast in the fifth inning. The veteran outfielder has been struggling in recent weeks and his overall season numbers have gone south compared to recent years. He only has 11 homers while hitting .267 -- a figure that ranks as the worst of his career excluding the year in which he debuted (2011).

Pederson is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rockies.

Pederson went 2-for-19 (.105) at the plate over his last 10 games, so he will get a chance to clear his head. Adam Duvall will man center field for Atlanta on Thursday.
